Solid Henna Powder
I couldn't get my henna powder from my regular person quick enough so I decided to try this one. I wanted one without any additives, just pure leaf. I routinely use henna to color my hair for years now. The powder did the job, I do not follow the directions on the bag however. It made a great color. If i were going to use it for decorating hands/feet, it would need sifting as it was a bit clumpy, but for hair purposes it was great, and shipped quickly. I'll definitely purchase again. I use fresh lemon juice, hibiscus tea and a few drops of essential oil, let sit for a few hours under saran wrap and a beanie, then shampoo out.

Good Quality
The henna was nice. It was easy to apply and it left my hair really soft afterwards. My hair is already a dark brown but In the picture you can see the brown highlights it gave me.

My favorite henna powder
If anyone ever says henna is "easy" to use, they are probably not referring to the prep steps and developing time it takes. I will say, though, that after having spent years dying my hair with chemical dyes, I will never go back to that again. My hair has been healthier than it's ever been and much of the hair loss that happened due to chemical dyes, is now starting to grow back after a year of regular henna/indigo use. I've used different henna powders over the past year and always come back to this brand. It seems to mix better with fewer clumps. It also seems to give a much bolder end result that lasts a bit longer. I'm sure mixing henna with other plant-based powders such as indigo, Brahmi, amla and hibiscus affects this, but when I buy from this same brand, I'm very happy with how the results end up and last. It's a very good value.

It covers gray!
I’ve been using other henna dye for years. They didn’t provide the right directions so it was fail army for me. I tried THIS brand and followed the directions. I have black be hair with gray and white roots. I did this red henna. I let it cure for 3 hours. That’s important. Then applied and had it sit for 3.5 hours. My grey was reddish. The next day I used the indigo. Three hours. It covered 95%. The highlight of red are interesting because it is where the grey used to be. My hair is wet. I will update after one week. I hear that this is a commitment and you have to do it like every month in order to build up the color and strength in your damaged hair. I plan on doing this. I’ll update again. Very pleased

Great henna
I haven't used henna in probably 3 years. This is my first time trying this brand and I have to say I like it a lot. My hair was a dishwater blonde with gray in the bangs. This henna covers all the gray. I uploaded what my hair looked like before and what it looks like now after using the henna. I mixed mine with one lemon squeezed and equal parts apple cider vinegar and warm water. The apple cider vinegar and lemon are acidic and help release the dye which is not on the instructions, but usually is necessary for henna. Also, not to use metal utensils or containers with henna. I stored it on the counter overnight for 8 hours covered and then did it first thing in the morning. I left it on my hair for 4 hours. I had a lot left over so I froze the remaining henna. I rinsed it only. I did not wash or condition it, but if your hair is really tangly just do an apple cider vinegar water rinse. I hope this helps. One of the pictures it looks darker inside plus it was still wet so I went outside and took a picture once it was dry.
