Which three notes does it play?

Hi Cynthia, the notes are G, D, and F. I've not checked it with a tuner, but it sounds in perfect pitch to me. I posted a video review if you'd like to hear it!

How many seconds does the sound last?

I second that, if you touch the bar after hitting it, the sound stops when you touch the bar. If I hit the bar gently, the sound is a tiny bit shorter and the sound is overall quieter. If I hit the bar harder, it's louder (almost too loud), but the sound is a little longer. I measured it several times and got about 10 seconds. At 10 seconds, its still making noise but VERY quietly (so to a room of yoginis, those in the back probably won't hear it). Also to get an idea of what it sounds like, on the iPhone (classic sounds), it's the "Glass" noise almost perfectly. If I quickly hit the bar (at the same rate), friends often have thought it was their phones.

Can this chime be wall mounted?

I don't see why not. I'm not at home to check out the thing just now, but I know the wood base is fairly thick and if a screw hole is not already there (and it may be), a tiny screw eye could be screwed into it or a small hole for a screw or hook or nail drilled into it fairly easily. Or a small picture hanger used to hang it up. There is a heavy cord holding the metal rod securely to the wooden base that would keep it in place no matter how the chime is held... even upright on a wall....vertically or horizontally. And you could mount a larger screw eye near it to hold the tiny "hammer", if you want to. It has a lovely sound. I use it for yoga and tai chi classes to call class to order and to end the relaxation period.

Clear bright sounding chime

Using this in my sound bath assortment of instruments. I love the clear bright sound of this little chime. It can be soft or sharp depending on the striker. The one that comes with it sits nicely in the unit but I leave it out next to it and use my different bowl strikers for a softer tone or this one for a crisp sharp bell like sound. Love this chime! Great price, get one you'll love it too

You can't go wrong

Nice sound! I think it's fun to just "ding" it. What's neat is when my two parakeets start fighting or arguing, the ding will quiet them down and they quit fighting! It is well made and I love that the hammer stores underneath the tone pipe, which is really very neatly mounted. It looks nice and is a quality product.
