TempMaster Pro BBQ Temperature Controller, Food Bluetooth Thermometer, Sous-Vide Controller 3-in-1 with Adapter for Weber Kettle, Weber Smokey Mountain Smoker WSM, 4" x 4" x 3.5"

I bought this device without really knowing what to expect. Thinking it was a fancy Bluetooth thermometer (it is!) I purchased thinking I could fall back on Amazon’s generous return policy. Holy cow, I’m glad I took a risk.Not only does this have Bluetooth monitoring of 4 different temperature probes (3 included, one is a air temp monitor, the other two are a long and standard sized probe.) but it also has a fan that attaches to your grill, the probes will precisely monitor the temperature of the air and meat and adjust the air temp AUTOMATICALLY. I went and bought a new Weber grill just because I was so excited to try it out!So, installation was confusing to me at first, so I reached out via their website. I received a response super quick and they got me on the right track.I’ve included pictures to show the installation of the adapter for a Weber grill. You need to remove one of the fingers of the self cleaning system. See my pictures to understand. There are YouTube vids out there on how to do this.Once install was done, I had to try my new toy. I started simple. Just some steaks. Set my temp for 200, got my charcoal nice and white, installed the probes, and let the device do all the work. The app tells you all the temp info, it was overkill to use this on some steaks, but I can’t wait to try my hand at some ribs later this week. The “smoker” applications that can be done here make this new $99 kettle grill Just as capable as my buddies Trager in my opinion.Negatives: okay, critical look at the device the biggest drawback is that the device needs power. Now, the temp monitor can be removed and operate wirelessly, but the fan needs ac power.I see on their site they sell a battery box for mobile use. I think that’s officially on my must have list.Update #1: Cooked some ribs and it couldn’t have been easier! Smoked two racks of ribs in 6 hours and little effort on my end. I love my BBQube!

The bluethooth keeps cutting out after you leave the app, so you have to turn your bluetooth off and back on in order to get the connection. The temp was always off by about 5 degrees and was very, very slow to respond. It would temp meat directly out of the refrigerator at 28 degrees. My fridge is set at 35 degrees. Upon arrival, one of the magnets that holds the portable portion of the unit fell out, and just yesterday, the power cord portion that plugs into the unit broke. This is garbage!!

I was shopping Amazon for a fan controller and bluetooth thermometer. Little did I know I would find both in one package! Used BBQube for first time yesterday for 3.5 hr smoked chicken. Unit connects easily to App on phone. Range of bluetooth is limited. (75-100 feet per email from manufacturer). I would lose connection anytime I moved to opposite side of house. Reconnected easily with reselecting BBQube controller on phone. It comes with one grill thermometer and two meat probes (one long, one short), with an option to add a forth. The controller did a good job of maintaining temperature, using variable speeds with fan depending on how close the smoker was to set temp. The Fan speed is indicated on phone and unit. Hose slips on and off easily, allowing for quick set up and dismantling for storage. I monitored unit throughout day, but that really wasn't necessary. The BBQube maintained temperature without any assistance on my part. Very pleased.

After 3 uses I find the temperature fluctuates plus or minus 10-20 degrees.The software is junk. It crashes continually upon connecting. I have been able to contact after a dozen or more attempts and last use it never did stay connected. Data would should for a second and it would crash. I contacted the manufacturer and all I got was we will let you know if we find something.

This product with companion app is an amazing value with a level of refinement I have yet to see for the cost of the unit. The temp charting across 4 probes is amazing. I have some additional discovery, so far, 5 stars. As this requires a 110 to 12v power adapter to run the fan, suggest a recharge battery model to simplify use outdoors.

unless you use bluetooth and are within 30 feet of the smoker the digital monitoring functions are USELESS.. i bought this because of the wifi features.. they dont work.. went to the manufacturer website to downloand Firmware and every other update they say to use, NOTHING works.. its a joke and a glorified manually adjusted controller.. could have got the same results for under $100.00 .. it sucks.. don't waste your money find a different company's product

My hubby loved this as a gift. The electrical part stopped working and they shipped us a new one ASAP. Amazing company to work with!
