Will work for the Buck 110, but not for me
It gets 5 stars for doing exactly what it's meant to do, easy to install on/off and there's enough of it sticking out to give good traction with the thumb while opening the blade. On a separate note, I returned mine because I didn't like it on my Buck 110, and I know lots of people are looking at this to put on a 110 so here's why:- After trying out several positions for it on the blade, I found that where it looked most natural to put it didn't provide great leverage, and where it did provide good leverage, it was just an an eyesore sticking out close to the middle of the blade while closed. I guess I found out how much I really loved the classic lines/look of a 110.-The Buck 110 is a relatively big knife, those with med/large hands will see that you won't be able to "flick" the blade open, and it's a bit of a stretch to completely open it with the thumb on the stud.- Didn't fit back into the leather sheath nicely with the thumb stud on, it had to be forced. I'm sure the sheath would have broken in after a while, so this may be a non-issue.-You can open the Buck 110 with one hand, there are a few ways, even though admittedly no way I know of is as comfortable as using a thumb stud.-I realized that I have my one-handed opening modern knives and when I'm using my 110 I'm usually fishing/in the woods/taking it easy, and I never have a real need to open it one handed.I returned mine for those reasons, but if this is for another knife, or you won't mind the looks of the knife and are all about utilitarian features, this will work great.

Not what's described
The thumb stud works great but it shows one with a satin finish but in the description it says that the color will be black. The description is wrong you will in fact be getting the shown. That's the only reason two stars are given. If color doesn't matter to you than these work great.

Sturdy, useful, and inexpensive
I bought this in 2014 to fit an old pocket knife that had been collecting dust in a drawer for 20 years. I’m happy to report that both the knife, and this thumb stud have been in regular service ever since. The set screw has remained tight and solid over 7 years, and I’ve never had to adjust it even once. Another reviewer stated this could only be used from one side, but that isn’t true. The knurling is only on one side, yes, but the stud overhangs the blade on both sides, and can be easily used with either hand. This little $8 accessory was well worth it, and I actually just ordered a second one to put another old knife back to work.

Amazing for it's purpose.
I have a scrade gen 3 single action otf, so I have to manually retract the blade and I've wanted a better grip for it for years. Even with the flat back against a torque screw pattern, I managed to tighten the product well enough to the bolt to where now, it's just as fun closing the knife as it is to open. I feel like I'm cocking back on my dad's old Remington.

Works on most buck folders
Use clean blade and tighten with loctite, hasn't came off from normal use, hasn't loosened, very comfortrable thumb deployment. Probably wouldn't hold up to strong shock to the spine of the blade.

Great product. Make sure to keep track of the tiny Allen screw when you empty the package
I bought this for my Gerber “alligator grip“ folder. It’s on and working very well! Two tips to mention:1. Be sure to locate the tiny black Allen screw that, at least in my case, was not set in the stud when the package arrived. It’s easy enough to set it in the stud with the help of the included Allen wrench. But it may take you five extra minutes if it falls between the sofa cushions and you have to look for it.2. I repositioned the stud on the back of the blade three or four times before I found the sweet spot that offered the best leverage and least resistance.. Be sure to experiment a bit with placement before you lock it down tight.

Love it
I ran into this by mistake and glad I did! I have an older Bucklite 426V and rarely carried it because I have become so accustomed to quick release knives or at the minimum already had a thumb stud from the factory. This item works great and because its adjustable it allows the user to place it wherever works best on the blade for them. This is fantastic because we all have different size hands and the thumb stud may work (at one location) for some and those with bigger hands would like it farther down the blade. I experimented for the best location to find that “sweet” spot I was comfortable with. I also put some semi permanent thread lock on the screw to avoid it working itself free! Definitely worth the paltry price!

Regular y caro
No me pareció el valor costo beneficio, es muy pequeño y creo le falta ergonómica para no lastimar tus uñas
