More smoky, and sweet like bourbon, but much cleaner. Absolutely delicious
Glenfiddich is one of my favourite whiskies, but i do also love a good rum so i was keen to give this a try.It's a standard sized 70cl but the abv is a little higher than their standard, sitting at 43% which really helps bring the flavours and smoke together, and makes them both bold and fresh. If you do add water the flavours become a bit more sticky and lingering. If you taste at bottled abv it will catch your breath but along with it are sweetness that almost tastes like a bourbon but keeps faar fresher and lighter. That then follows with a strong smoky flavour. This is both wonderfully smooth and quite punchy. This has much more.smoke than a standard Glenfiddich, but is still less than a heavy peated whiskey like Laphroaig.As a gift this would cover many people whiskey drinkers, bourbon, and rum. Just not for people who like a subtle easy whiskey it would be a bit too much for them as there is a lot going on. This is definitely a fine sipping whiskey or a unique cocktail ingredient.Absolutely delicious, and a bargain when on sale, I'll wait until it's on sale again. Highly recommended. Very nice whisky. Sweet at the beggining and smoomed at finish. Nice sent. I have purchase it in promotio - definetely worth it

Very peaty
It's smooth and well made, as you'd expect, but it's way more peaty than any other GF I've ever had. Very much representitive of an isle whiskey. I wont buy again and will stick with the normal 15 Yr old which is my personal fav

Quality as always with this brand
Got as a gift for family. He was over the moon with it and the deal on Amazon for this was really good fast a secure delivery . Not tied it thought so can’t comment any further.

I find this an excellent smooth whisky.

Great whisky and different.
We bought this as a present for our daughter's boyfriend and he was over the moon. He says it's different but still a wonderful whisky to try! Especially if you're a single malt fan.
