This is Ceder wood Not palo Santo. I know my wood types. Smells great because I love Ceder but unset because I wanted Palo.

Not high quality, and maybe not Palo Santo
I've purchased smaller quantities of Palo Santo from other sellers on Amazon and purchased this for the quantity ... but the quality isn't there. Every other time I've purchased Palo Santo, the smell is quite potent, the wood smokes for a long time, and the flame is large (requiring you to blow it out). This brand smells very faint (and just smells woodsy rather than the trademark Palo Santo scent), barely lights fire, and smokes for only a minute or so. I'm suspicious that it may not be Palo Santo at all.

Not good
Good price for the value. However it creates a black smoke while trying to burn It. I am not sure why this palo santo creates ashes in the air while trying to create a smoke( I tried making a video of the smoke that turned into ashes but it’s hard to see the ashes on the video) and it has a really loud lighter fluid scent after. I gave out some to my friends and they have the same issues I am having. I purchased palo santo before from different vendor and it's nothing like this. I am not sure if it has too much oil in it. Comparing the 2 sticks the left one has more oil residues compare to the right one (left one is from this seller and the right one is from a different vendor) I guess I am going back where I purchased my previous palo santo. I am not sure the authenticity of this item.

This is not Palo Santo
This IS NOT Palo Santo wood. This is some kind of wood soaked or coated in oil.When you first lite the wood and let it burn a bit to get a good ember going, black suit emits heavily from the flame. This is because of the oil. I knew right away as I have had lots of real Palo Santo before ordering from this company. Pretty disappointed.

Quality Palo Santo, good price
Quality Palo Santo, what else can I say.... I am new to "natural incense", this is my second experience with this particular one, I purchased it previously at a local shop and it looked and smelled just like this... Why purchase it on amazon you ask, well I'm getting the exact same thing and quality from the comfort of my home, plus the local shop does not sell it in bulk.

Doesn't smell like real palo santo
This doesn't smell like I'm burning Palo Santo? It smells like I'm burning just normal wood that has maybe has some oils added to it? But this is not the smell I know well and love. Very unsatisfied

Only a few pieces of real Palo Santo heartwood
This was not what it was supposed to be. It was 95% tree wood...not the heartwood where the prime scent and sappy feel. I have bought it directly from Ecuador before and received more than 2x as much for the same money and it was 95% real! This is overpriced and does not represent the gorgeous delicious pungency of real Palo Santo heartwood.
