terrible design
I also have this for the Boom 2 and at least with that version, you could charge with the case on with the top off and the volume buttons on the case were actually in the right place. You'll have to remove the case to charge your Megaboom 3. I'm going to return these.

Gives good protection
The product does exactly what I wanted it to do -protect my speakers (I purchased 2 and use them in stereo) while bouncing around on a dive boat.The UE Megabooms may be waterproof & float, but they will soon get dinted, damaged scarred & scratched when bouncing around on a boat.This case protects them from that, without interfering with sound quality. it also allows me to hang the speakers from any convenient rail on the dive boat.Well worth the money to protect the investment on the speakers

Poor Port Placement, Great Case!
Overall, these cases fit the speaker perfectly and function as they are supposed to. However, the access ports are really only useful for using the Megaboom 3’s “Magic Button.” The power and pairing buttons are blocked by the top of the case. Furthermore, the base of the case is too thick to allow for the speaker’s connectors to reach the charging dock. In my opinion, unzipping the case to access these areas is not too much of an inconvenience for the protection the case provides.

It does the job.
It's a bit oversized but I don't have a problem with that. I think that help protect it when dropped it on the ground.

Fits UE MegaBoom 3 perfectly
Fits the UE MegaBoom 3 perfect. Have used it on the beach, on a boat and in home with no issues. Great value.Only thing I wish it had, is a sewn handle in addition to the clasp handle.

No access to power and Bluetooth bottoms. No access to charging port.

Don’t buy
Would not recommend, the quality is terrible, as you can see in the photo the outer skin is ripped and it came that way.
