WiFi Mini Spy Hidden Camera, SOOSPY 1080P Wireless Indoor Outdoor Portable Security Camera/Nanny Cam with Motion Detection(iOS&Android)

I've tried 4 different similarly designed cameras from different companies and the Soospy is hands down the best I've used. Superior picture and audio quality compared to the other 3. The low light performance of this camera is hands down the best I've seen. It doesn't have any IR illumitstors but can see VERY well with almost no ambient light present. If you're handy with electronics and have the skills to install one of these into an item (fan, alarm clock, plant, whatever) you will NOT be disappointed. It works/looks better than the $500 spy cam DVD player I had built by a reputable electronics shop that specializes in making custom spy gear. That is a fact!!

Not easy to install. The directions are given in super-small print, one needs a magnifying glass to read, and they are incomplete. The device has a huge battery that needs to be attached and it has this long antenna connected to it as well, neither are shown in any of the pictures. This defeats the purpose of easy to hide,” It’s a pain to connect and it didn’t always activate with obvious movements. After about 3 hours it stopped working altogether, never to reconnect. Waste of my time.

Hands down the best camera I have purchased and I've used several. First thing I love how small the camera is. It is small enough that you can hide and put it anywhere and it would not be Detected. Second thing is the picture and audio quality are outstanding. Third aspect I really like is it isn't just recording non stop, it good of a motion sensor. So when you want to rewatch there isn't a bunch if useless motionless screens being recorded. Also i like that you can have a multi user so i can check on things with my phone and my husbands can on his as well. It was very easy to set up and install the camera and the app. You do have to buy your own SD card but to me this little device gives me so much piece of mind when I'm not home with my children.. well worth it.

Having had a very similar camera like this one that lasted 8 months of solid use...I decided to get this one as a replacement. Picture is high quality. Connectivity is about the same....which is weak and spotty and requires a pretty strong WiFi signal to work. The included lens covers are a joke as most do not stay on the lens but fall right off. The biggest concern...the recorded files on the SD card have no running date or time stamp on them. So if you have a one hour recording...the best you can do is see the date of the file and start time and then kind of guess about the exact time an event took place by seeing around where on the progress bar it is. I think that is very lame and there is no reason to have excluded this very necessary feature or at least have a setting for turning it on and off. I have NEVER seen or used a camera that records and then on playback has no time data ON the video.

We purchased this item to supplement our security footage outside our house. Our initial impression was that the device was large and not easily concealable but we were willing to give it a try. The initial set up was difficult as the instructions were incomplete, but we figured it out. The picture was a great quality, but the body of the device heats up really fast and brought concern on where it would actually be placed long term. The second time we tried to operate the camera, it connected briefly and then stopped responding. We have not be able to reconnect it since, even after reboots. If you are looking for a one time picture and recording this may do the job. If you want something long term, this probably isn't it. At least we have an additional USB cable out of the deal....and we can always use that.

I am not very tech savvy. I saw this and thought it'd be a nice item to have to monitor my front door. I was not expecting it to be difficult to install. The app was easy to download, but I couldn't get it to connect to my Wi-fi. They do provide two email addresses to contact them for any questions. But after several failed attempts to try to do a simple task like connecting the device to the internet, I decided that it was not a good start and will send it back.

From the photo it looked like a little stick you just hide. It is actually a flat strip with a camera at the end. It is still easy to hide but have to stabilize the camera. The picture quality is as expected, sort of fish eye. The cool thing is that you can control it from the phone! Control the little lights, make it dark or bright picture, and can take snapshots. It’s very MacGuyver like device!

We haven't been able to get product to work unfortunately.
