I bought 4 numbers, one of which was a zero. I realize each stone is slightly different but the picture of the zero has a number which is not solidly black (there is a bit of white on the left and right side). The other 3 digits have some white, however the zero does not. I wrote to exchange the first which was very easy. I indicated the reason for the exchange and the second tile came today, no white. The look of all 4 digits together doesn't look right with the solid black zero so now we're trying to decide what to do.

Ordered 5 number tiles in May 2016. Two of the tiles began to yellow in the first month, however they are back to normal now after the sun bleached them. The MAJOR issue now 3 months later is with the zero number tiles. As shown in the picture, the thin sticker sheet the numbers are printed on has deteriorated and flaking off with any bit of wind or rain. I am outside of the return policy and I doubt I can even replace these tiles as I used 3M outdoor tape to stick them on the holder plate. At $10-20 a tile, the numbers should be etched or painted directly on the tiles, not a plastic overlay that falls apart. This looks terrible on my freshly painted house. Very disappointing...

We have a lot of natural stone in our home so I was also looking for a number plate using marble or another natural stone. The holder also goes very well with the rest of our home. The reason I only gave it three stars is:* The color of the numbers is very different. I understand the same kind of stone can vary a lot. However, I would assume that when you order numbers together you will get them from the same "cut", hence the color should be rather similar. In our case you can see the difference from far away.* The size of the numbers is quite small. Granted, they list the size in the specs but while the tiles are already small the numbers are even smaller.* The numbers are mounted with double-sided tape. I am somewhat doubtful this will last for a long time, especially when exposed to direct sunlight in hot climates. If the number falls it most likely will break so you have to buy a new one.* This plate was rather expensive, i.e. about $140 (3 numbers each $20, 2 half-ends each $20, holder). Compare this to numbers from HomeDepot/Loews that cost less than $2/each and which are much bigger. That's about 10x-20x less expensive. These numbers still look quite nice and can be arranged vertically, horizontally, vertically with a slight angle, etc. while the numbers from this place really have to be put into their holders.The only reason why I would chose this plate again is because I absolutely want a number with natural stone.
