The Metropolitan Museum Of Art William Morris Compton Printed Silk Neck Scarf

I LOVED this scarf. Why the past tense? Because I forgot to tie it and the wind must have sent it flying as I walked down the street last week. UGH! I hope a wonderful woman found it and is wearing it. This is one of the most beautiful prints I have ever seen. I also have this scarf in a square that I bought at the MET years ago that I tie around my neck... I wore them together. (I weep.) I will buy this again and not leave the house without it knotted!

This scarf is well-made of the finest quality materials, and is exactly as shown online. Meaning that the colors are deep and rich, the drape is silky and beautiful, and it is truly a work of art, only wearable. I have received many compliments on this scarf at holiday parties, and the various colors allow me to wear it with many different colors and in many ways. This is a scarf which will be in my drawer for the rest of my life, and I hope that my daughter will enjoy it at the end of my days. It is a scarf which will never go out of style.

Scarf is nice and soft. Great design and colors. More for style than warmth but I still use it in colder days because I like the feel of it around my neck.
