Double Donut Coffee, Fresh Bold Roast Coffee, Single-Serve Pods for Keurig K Cup Brewer Machines, 80 Capsules per Box

I was skeptical about buying this coffee because of the low number of reviews, but I went ahead and got a case because the price was great and we like trying new blends. Personally I'm more of a medium roast kind of guy, but my wife likes dark and French roasts so I figured I would roll the dice. The box arrived and scared me a little - it's not much more than a plain cardboard box with a bunch of loose pods inside, but none of them were broken or "popped" and the seals were all clearly in tact and pressurized. I let them settle down from shipping for a while and then tried one out, and I couldn't have been more surprised and wrong about my initial hesitation.For a French roast coffee, this is one of the best cups I have ever had. It isn't too dark, and it's not too earthy either, for me it is pretty much perfect. It's definitely stronger than the medium blends I usually drink, no doubt there, but it lacks the earthy, what I call "burnt" taste that I normally don't like about French roast blends. Maybe that is how French roasts are supposed to be, but that never seemed right to me. The bottom line is that this is a fantastic cup of coffee at an extremely reasonable price when purchasing in volume. I haven't hesitated to order more since getting my first box last month, and you shouldn't eitheR. As I said, the only room for improvement I see is with their packaging, but since mine arrived all in tact I didn't knock a star off like I normally would. Just check your coffee on arrival.

This is pretty good coffee. Not quite as strong as the expresso roast, but for the money it is good.

Good self but lacks depth of flavor

Good coffee and good price. I think it tastes better than the Starbucks French Roast which I think taste a little to bitter. It's not as strong as the Starbucks brand but it has a better taste. Works great in my Keurig 2.0 as long as you have the fix to do it. Doesn't have the Keurig logo on it so you have to have get the hack to make it work, like cutting off the top of a Keurig logo coffee pod and taping it under the sensor, used duct tape and it does the job very well and it hasn't come off in the year since I taped it there.

Purchased 96 count. First was delivered with the shipping box crushed. Individual boxes were OK. Attempted to make cup of coffee what a mistake the pod blew up in my machine causing huge mess everywhere. Got all cleaned up and figured it was a fluke tried again with the same results. Me trying to give the benefit of doubt I Attempted 6 more cups and all resulted the same way. Huge mess each time. And worse is non returnable and I am out over 30 dollars
