Labgear LDA102R 2-Way Distribution Amplifier - 4G Filtered Amp For TV/FM/DAB Signals For 2 TVs RED Compliant

I can't believe the difference this has made to our TV reception. We view via a BT Freeview box but when tuned via the terrestrial cable the maximum number of channels we could receive was 80, and most of those appeared towards the end of the channel tuning scan. I could live with this, but in recent weeks the ITV channel reception has been an absolute disaster with the picture constantly breaking up.The Labgear 2-way amplifier has addressed all of the problems. Installation was incredibly easy. Ours is positioned in the recommended position in the loft; close to where the aerial cable enters the house. Fortunately we have a power supply close by. The only fiddly bit was changing the existing cable connectors to the screw on F-Type connector. Thankfully, the Amplifier I received came with 10 of them.Once everything was connected I proceeded to re-tune our TV's. This time the tuning was almost instant with 80 channels appearing within 35% of the channel download. When it finished, it had found 124 TV channels, plus countless radio and others. I am sure that many of them will broadcast absolute rubbish but what a huge difference from the 80 we received previously. Not only that, the reception quality on the ITV channels is crystal clear, and the picture quality across the board absolutely superb.I expected some improvement but the scale of the improvement has been incredible. Definitely, £19 well spent....... I bought mine as a damaged box item.

I'm actually gobsmackeds, this turned out to be so ducking good. I've uploaded some before and after shots, the one that says channel 55 is actually channel 96 the Forces channel which had signal strength less than 10 but with the amplifier is near perfect. All of the HD channels are superb with no drop out. Every channel is much improved mostly to 100 or near it in both strength and quality. Follow the instructions, do not turn on tv or plug the amp. in until everything is connected up then power on the amp and last turn on tv.I really can't believe how ducking good this thing is. I notice some people say it worked well at first but stopped working altogether shortly afterwards. I will update this review if that happens but so far I am so ducking impressed I would recommend.EDIT 1 - They've changed the order of the pics so just to clarify from left to right -1 - 5 USA with this amp.2 - Forces Channel without this amp.3 - 5 USA without this amp.4 - Forces channel with this ampEdit 2 after 4 monthsStill works really well, this is my experience so far.All of the above I still stand by and I am seriously impressed with this. We have a problem with trains/helicopters blocking the weaker signalled channels in our area. This amp does not stop this because the signal is affected at the aerial by these vehicles and it stops the weak signal altogether leaving an insufficient signal for amplification. under normal circs. it is impressively good even when there is just a weak signal and my HD channels are much better (actually perfect) I would definitely still recommend these signal amplifiers.I will try to remember to give another update in a few months but so far soooo good.

Item arrived well packed.It was easy to install apart from the short mains supply lead. it could be a little longer.Have found that it has given us more channels on Freeview.

We have 2 HD TVs running off an internal HDTV antenna positioned in the loft. The signal is delivered by normal coax cable, and originally, through a simple 2-way F-Type signal splitter. The cable run to the TV in the kitchen is quite long, but the other, to the office, is probably half the distance.When this was all first installed, it all worked fine, however, during the last year, the signal has deteriorated to the extend that we could only watch 3 or 4 channels with perfect reception. The reception on the TV in the office also suffered very badly with interference from power and network cables in the trunking. We tried re-tuning the TVs several times, but, prior to purchasing this, we could only get 39 channels on the kitchen TV and 64 on the office one.So, bought the Labgear LDA102R 2-Way Distribution Amplifier, installed it in place of the 2-way splitter (10 minutes), re-tuned the TVs and….WOW!! 162 perfectly clear channels on both TVs, no break-ups, no interference, simply PERFECT! I cannot praise this product enough, it has fixed all of our TV problems, all in 10 minutes, and for £17.34. Absolutely FANTASTIC!

i read a few reviews thought this would be good . but it was rubbish . it was worst than the 25 year old one i was trying to replace .

Have had perfect freeview reception till about a month ago. Not sure if was high winds disturbing the aerial or some work on the outside of the house (maybe nicked the RF cable under the rendering) but since then all the HD channels have been patchy. I use the Proception distribution amp to distribute round the house and all the tellys were the same. Put this on the input to the Proception and all channels are now rock solid on all tellys. There is no IR passthrough on this, which I don't need as it is on the input as main aerial comes in to the house. I use F-types for all my interconnects anyway as they are so flexible. The LED on this is a piercing light blue so you definitely want it out of sight. Very pleased and very good value.

Great amplifier, but the f type connecters same in and out are very inconvenience

This is my second one of these as the first one packed in after a couple of years but at this price I'm not overly bothered. I live in a very poor signal area and all my neighbours have external ariels that look like something out of NASA but my small ariel is up in the loft and hooked up to this little beauty and the picture quality is absolutely brilliant. Hopefully this one lasts longer than the old one.

Solidna konstrukcja. Mam podłączone po 2 odbiorniki na każde z wyjść. Jest kontrolka zasilania. Niestety angielska wtyczka bez uziemienia - musiałem przerobić. Jestem zadowolony.

Impossible de tester pour l'instant car l'appareil est livré avec une prise UK. J'ai de nombreux adaptateurs UK→EU/US mais aucun EU→UK. Ceci n'est pas signalé dans la description et la prise n'est pas montrée sur la photo de l'article
