Bloem DC14-42 Dura Cotta Planter, 14-Inch, Living Green

This review is for item Bloem DC16-46 Dura Planter, 16", Terra Cotta, pictured with item Bloem SDC16-46 Dura Cotta Plant Saucer, 16-Inch, Terra Cotta. (the item doesn't come with wheels, that's separate).The title says "terra cotta" which I think should be the same as "terracotta" (no space) which is pretty heavy clay for a 16" pot; so it was a big surprise when it arrived and the delivery guy was handling it with one hand. Turns out it's plastic with a terracotta colour. The description on the Amazon page does say it's plastic ("100% UV stabilized polypropylene plastic ..." but who reads all the description :-)) but I think it's misleading to call it terracotta.Other than that, it's a serviceable plastic planter pot. It fits nicely with the 16" saucer, also plastic with terracotta color. There are holes in the bottom (about 1/2 to 3/4", I didn't measure them). So you do get drainage, but not the porous property of true terracotta clay pots, if that's important for you. On the other hand, plastic might be more suitable for a pot that's kept inside a living area.The pictures show it with a young lemon tree plant.

Pot is one of the best I’ve purchased and I have about 100.Well designed, sturdy, light weight, with punch out drain holes and a drain platform with holes that’s elevated. I’ve already planted Cosmos.Buy this pot, it’s worth the money.Happy pollinator Gardner.

Large spacious firm plain plastic pot (see pictures for all measurements). It did not come with the plate shown as advertised! Unlike the Bloom pots I ordered 2 years ago, this pot seems like it's a product a unhappy customer returned. It was not as well packaged as the other pots I ordered. This is not what I was expecting or as advertised see my pictures compared to advert. If it came with the matching plate shown, I would be able to use it. As I received it, I can not use it.

For a pot this size, the walls feel very thin. I don't expect this will last more than a season or two.

Very sturdy. True to size as described. 10-12 gallons maybe? Very pleased with quality, size, and rigidity. I repotted two large plumeria that are moved around quite a bit depending on temperature. These pots are sturdy enough to pick up and move while full of moist soil/plant. Also, plenty of drainage for the size of pot. Value is adequate. If you can catch these on sale, great value!
