Quality motor controller
This is the third motor controller I've purchased from Dimension Engineering. I have a Syren10 and Sabertooth 2x25 for an RC astromech droid and this Sabertooth 2x60 was for an RC locomotive. All of the motor controllers have worked exceptionally. Very easy to install and reliable.

Very pleased!!!
The media could not be loaded. This thing is a beast! I bought it to use for a radio controlled lawnmower I built and it has exceeded my expectations! This is a very well built and versitile motor controller. I am very pleased and will definitely consider this controller for future projects.Update: 4 years later and this thing is still working perfectly despite using it to drive a commercial lawnmower up steep hills and rough terrain. The mower weighs over 300lbs and this controller doesn't even get warm!!!

Zero for Two
Well it has been a year now using the Sabertooth 2x60 controllers in two different applications. One a 24V 4 wheel drive RC mower with 4x 350W motors and the other a 24V Utility Bot with 6 wheel drive 6 x 500W motors. The first sabertooth in my mower had the red error light come on and stop working at the beginning of the summer. So I replaced that one with two single channel ESC's and just use the mixing on my radio for steering. The second Sabetooth just had the same issue red error light and not working after only 2 months on the robot. I can't determine the root of the failure but assume it was overcurrent damage since the robot would shut down and sometimes go out of control when making abrupt maneuvers like going full forward to a quick stop. This is dissapointing since this is supposed to have overcurrent protection built into the unit. Long story short this controller has proven to be both unreliable and unsafe in my applications. I'll be replacing the latest failure with 6x of the brushed 120A ESC's, one for each 500W motor. 3 of these will be connector to channel 1 and 3 will be connected to channel 2 of my receiver. With mixing I should get the same steering capability with 720A combined controller capacity vs the 120A capacity provided by the sabertooth. The cost of each solution is about the same.

Im sure there is something better out there but for the price it was good
decent product pending on how you use it. I used it outdoors on a rover that I build and it did ok. Im sure there is something better out there but for the price it was good. I did have to build a special box to put this in because of what I was putting my rover through

This motor controller is designed to make hookup very easy. I haven't wired it into my RC lawnmower project, yet, but have tested it on small RC devices, and it performs as expected. Nifty device, making RC stuff easy and fun.

Easy to plug n' play
Pros: Easy to plug n' play. required very little calibration. In a steady, controlled setting, it works fine. However, I used this controller in a combat robot, which is put under a lot of shock load. This controller would occasionally stop responding, and what's even worse, was that it lost communication to my receiver and my robot ran out of control (the failsafe no longer worked). If you're using it in a casual setting, it's fine, but not suited for combat.

dimension engineering tech support (shout out to charlene) are also super duper helpful and attentive
this thing is a beast. works right out of the box exactly as described.dimension engineering tech support (shout out to charlene) are also super duper helpful and attentive.if you need to use this thing with motors that have regenerative braking, be sure to google for a diagram as you will need to wire up some diodes to send current one-way to the brake circuits (they need a proportional voltage to disengage along with the motor throttle).dimension will also send you a schematic (that i drew for them, hehe).

Good dual motor controller.
Good dual motor controller for robotic movements. Easy to mount and install. Does comes with quick manual sheet. But the wires connection need to be isolate better because if inserted to far it could short contacts with the head sinker next to it. Should have better wire isolation connections.
