Hilarious
i just started reading this today and my dogs are looking at me like I'm crazy because I keep laughing out loud. John Moe is so funny. I chose this book after just finishing The Hilarious World of Depression which is also wonderful.

Horovitz v Horovitz and the "right to party"? That alone is worth the cost of admission.
Stories are inconsistently funny. Some of them are hysterical (see the extremely well written Supreme Court opinion from Horvitz v Horvitz on whether you have a right to party), some of them not so much. My suspicion is that everyone will have their favorites based on what aspects pop culture they grew up with. I'd highly recommend it though just for the ones that you will enjoy. You can skim the rest.

This Book Might Change You Life
John Moe's 'Dear Luke, We Need to Talk, Darth' is the funniest book since 'The Shining'. Remember when the boiler exploded and destroyed the ghosts haunting The Overlook? This book will destroy any questions that have haunted you about popular culture. It will be an explosion in your head. When Tim Duncan needed to motivate the Spurs to win the NBA Championship, he may have rented a boat and taken the team around San Antonio. What book might he have used for motivation? It might have been this book. After reading this book will you become wealthy? It's possible. Will you know the secrets of the Universe? A definitely maybe. Will you laugh? Yes you will.Read this book.Be happy.Or else.

Terrific, funny, contains Fleetwood Mac
Sweet fancy Jimothy, John Moe's outdone himself this time. I've been a fan for a while through Twitter and the Wits public radio show, but this book may be his best work yet. It's smart, funny, and good-natured, which is a rare treat. If you're an old fan worried about lingering effects of the boat explosion, don't. Moe is still as sharp as ever. Grab this book as soon as possible!

Not as funny as advertised on NPR
Quite a few funny bits--Super bowls, Miss Othmar, Clark Kent's optomitrist but too easily descended into crude unfunny language.NPR reviewer read only the best bits which led me to purchase book. Rest of the book was not that funny

Funny
Amusing vignettes, cleverly presented. I took my time reading this and a few letters genuinely made me laugh out loud.

A Hilarious Read, And it Turns Out All Those Terrifying Rumors Weren't True!
John Moe's new book is an absurd delight. Fans of John Moe's radio show Wits will not be disappointed. This book is a must for all fans of pop culture or laughter. And best of all, those rumors about terrible mishaps befalling anyone that reads the book appear to be a load of superstitious hogwash. It's been days since I finished the book and nothi- ***JEFF IS VAPORIZED IN A HORRIFIC BOAT EXPLOSION***
