Good mirrors but maybe too expensive
I bought these and installed them on my Royal Enfield Himalayan. All of the necessary adapters were included. Installation was as simple as unscrewing my old mirrors, selecting the right adapter and screwing in the new ball mounts. From there, attach the ram arm and align the mirror. These mirrors look the part on the bike. They look like you're ready for an adventure. While riding, they are rock solid. No vibrations all the way up to 6k RPM's. Because they use RAM mounts and hardware, adjustability is fantastic. No problem with seeing my elbows and the range of view behind me is good. From a functionality standpoint, these are fantastic.Quality wise, the RAM mount stuff is what you'd expect. Good quality. The adapters included are aluminum and their tolerances aren't great. The threads fit loosely in the mounts until you tighten them up. The wrench cutouts are very tight. A 12mm wrench will fit but you have to persuade it a bit. SAE wrenches are too large or too small so I'm assuming its meant to be 12mm.The mirror housings are made of an injected thermoset plastic. It's rugged and hard but has a worn appearance. Not a big deal unless you care about such things.All-in-all, these a good mirrors. I think they are too expensive for what you get. If the price were down $30 or $40, they would be a no-brainer.

Bigger view than you'd expect. Super easy to install and adjust.
The Double Take Mirrors seemingly are recommended by everyone. I agree with the great reviews! I choose the round mirrors for my Suzuki DRZ400S and really like them. The included adapters fit directly to the stock mounts integrated into the clutch and brake handle bar clamps. Super adjustable and rugged. Best part is the rearward view is much larger than I expected. I can't compare to the stock mirrors as my bike didn't come with them but I assume the Double Take round mirrors give at least as good a view. You do have to be sure everything is tight before venturing on the freeway as a 60 - 70 mph wind blast can move them out of adjustment if you haven't tightened down the knobs sufficiently. Just give the tee handle a good twist and they stay in place. I've ridden up to 85 mph with mirrors staying in place after that. (Note, you should stop before trying to crank down the knobs to be safe). Also note that the mirror "glass" doesn't seem to really glass as it scratches fairly easily. Both my mirrors have been afflicted with one long scratch top to bottom and one has been burnished a bit. The long scratches I believe happened when I had the mirrors folded down for riding in the trees and they must have been rubbing on something. The burnishing happened when I rubbed mud off the glass. I've since been more careful and experienced no worsening of the issues.

Great field of vision
This is not necessarily the most important of the advantages of these mirrors, but this is the one that I was most anxious about and my concerns were not justified: the field of vision is great.Other advantages are well-known:* Unbreakable (I didn't try with these last ones but I broke mirror after mirror on a former bike of mine until I procured these and when I sold it these were still the ones.)* Easily adjustable - I installed the other, slightly more expensive double-take mirrors on my T7 and was wondering if the shorter adjustable arm of these would do as well, and they do.* When in the mud I'd fold them across the handlebar; when on dirt or gravel roads I would leave the left mirror as is and set the right one to see behind me when standing. This is now one of the first mods I do to any bike I lay my hands on and these are just great.Five stars from me.

Big Improvement
The factory mirrors on a KTM 500 look funny and feel flimsy. The Doubletake mirrors were a great upgrade. They feel strong and best of all they easily fold out of the way. While not the cheapest option you are probably getting what you pay for.

Great function, Indestructible, but heavy
I ride about 80 percent woods, 20 percent road. I prefer tight single track riding. I was looking for mirrors that could serve their purpose well on the road then tuck them away behind the number plate when I hit the woods. These mirrors do that very well. Extremely durable. They can also be easily removed if need be. My #1 complaint is the weight. Very heavy. If i'm going to ride hard tight woods for the day I remove them completely. #2 They do not come with bar clamps they are made to attach directly to your existing bar clamp. If you don't have existing clamps they have to be purchased separately

Superb product and even better customer service!
I just added these to my '09 BMW R1200GS. What a great addition, much better than stock mirrors. So easy to adjust, they fold out of the way quickly when riding off road and are very durable. I should have taken Doubletake's website advice and gone with the Adventure model, which have a bigger field of vision for riding on road, in traffic, but I will buy that set of mirrors separately. When I attempted to install the BMW adapters, I marred the threads and the adapters were useless. I sent an email to Doubletake to explain what had happened and see about getting replacement adapters. I got an email response back almost immediately (this was New Year's Eve afternoon), and the representative said that new adapters and RAM ball mounts would be sent out on January 2nd. I offered to buy the parts, because the damage to them was my fault, but they sent the replacements out complimentary. A great experience with this company and a quality product. I'll put them on all my bikes from now on.

Easy and tough
These installed on my KTM 690 Enduro R right in the existing stock location. The stock mirrors would rattle and vibrate making annoying noises and wanted them gone. These went right on in 5 minutes or less, no annoying sounds and easy to adjust. Solid build so I expect them to last. Also, when off roading, really easy to loosen and move out of the way or remove completely but, since they are tough, I leave mine on most of the time for trails, so I can still see other riders behind me.

Garbage mount
The ram mirrors themselves are decent. I found they did vibrate which makes them hard to see out of, but it was tolerable. However after 1 year the rubber ball that mounts to the handle bar began cracking and has gotten to the point now that it is useless and I had to buy a different mirror setup. Complete waste of money, no reply yet from the seller. Would not suggest buying

High Quality
Very flexible for offroad use. Consider adventure model if you will do less offraoding and more road use.

Richtig gute Spiegel!!
