This works great and I'm very glad I bought it!
This works really well. The V.A. gave me a pill cutter but unfortunately the very small blood pressure pills would pop out and fall to the floor when I split them. I bought this pill cutter and it works great and keeps both halves if the pill secure. No more searching the kitchen counter or floor for the split pills and no more worrying that my dogs or a baby will eat a lost pill that popped out when split!

Product DOESN'T cut or crush ur pills. Save ur $ y'all
DON'T BUY! This DOESN'T cut or crush ur pills. It comes in a box (that was torn & squished) written in Japanese (I think!) NOT anything written in English.VERY dissapoited in this product. I tried cutting small to large pills, nothing happened except for it almost breaking. The "crushing" part HAHA can't even reach a LG or small pill. I threw it in the TRASH where it belonged.I had to pry the "storage" part open with a butter knife. Very difficult especially If u have arthritus like I do.WHAT A JOKE!Sry Amazon, I love almost ALL of the items u sell. & I buy A LOT! lol But this item u should NO longer sell.

Good for bigger sized pills.
I ordered this because my cat is on prozac and only needs to take a half of pill daily. It's great for the money I spent on it. Only downfall is it doesnt cut the pill exactly in half if it's a tiny pill. It may be a timy bit bigger on one side when its cut. Other than that it's perfect. It grinds the pill down into powder nicely.
