This is an excellent hose. I am using it as a first link between a pump and a long length of hard pipe. No leaks and no swelling noted. I pumped for nearly 14 hours with a total vertical lift of 20 feet with no problems. The blue discharge hose is much inferior to this, and will barely hold the pressure. This medium duty red hose is worth the extra money to not have to worry about a blowout. It rolls back up nicely too.
