God Is All-Good (What Is God Like?)

Excellent primer for young children on the subject
This is a great introduction for young children to learn the attributes of God. The previous reviewer attempted to offer 'high school' level objections for an all good God. Your children using this book as a primer will in time be able to identify and easily refute many of those simplistic and fallacious arguments. What personally stood out the most in this book was Dr. Craig's great handling of what is known as the Euthyphro Dilemma. This dilemma is not called so by name in the book but the concept is tackled and well so I might add. After being introduced to the concept eventually children, as they grow older, will hear of the Euthyphro Dilemma but by then it will be, well, just child's play to them. All in all this series is a great introduction. Something I wish was around when I was a young child.

Favorite Children's Book Series
Dr. Craig's "What is God Like" series is the greatest children's book series I've found about God. More than a toddler Bible story book, of which I have many versions, the "What is God Like" books give young children (and their parents) the most biblically accurate view of God. Whereas many Christian adults grew up with dangerous misconceptions of God, His love and kindness, these books provide a special opportunity to teach children about the real, one true God BEFORE they adopt faulty teachings or misconceptions about Him, that could shatter their faith later in life. No short illustration and story about "Noah's Ark" or "Jonah and the Whale" can describe God as these books do, with beautiful illustrations to top them off!

discussion starter
In this book, Gosling Charity asks an interesting question--is it ok for some people to cheat but not for others? Papa and Mama talk about a moral standard--things that are wrong for everybody--and where that comes from. This book could be a conversation starter for any elementary age because I think more could be discussed on this topic, though I don’t think more could fit in this book.I bought this book and this is my honest and unbiased review.

Great book
Love this story. I was really looking forward to reading it with my three year old. Probably a tiny bit mature for him. But I love it and look forward to reading the other books in the series!

Love this series!
Dr. Craig is one of my favorite Christian apologists. I was so pleased to see his books for children available on Amazon! Our children enjoy reading all the books in his series, and everything he writes is highly recommended! The illustrations are beautiful and the content is wonderful!

Apologetic
It is truly a master piece for my little boy. It is a simple read that elucidates some of the attributes of God; a layperson is able to decipher its contents. Thanks Dr Craig,

Wow, i got these for my 7 yr old sister, shes really interested in God and the Church and thus i decided to get these for her. Firstly she can read these and understands what is being said in them, secondly my Mother also enjoy reading them to her as she gets to interact with these concepts and increase her understanding and philosophical underpinnings of God.this is a must buy.
