Might work ok in China, but it's pretty much garbage here. Instructions are difficult to follow. Instructions are incomplete. Basically, this is sitting in a drawer. Save your money, buy a $3 tag.

Had to purchase a sim card as it didn't come with it. Tested it first by walking out dog with it on. Our phones didn't pick up with signal very easily.

Be prepared for plenty of headaches if you purchase this item.The first headache is trying to make sense of the fractured English in the instruction manual. Read it and re-read it until you're crosseyed. Maybe you'll be able to make some sense of it.The second headache is trying to find any information on the web. Most searches involve using the app with other devices, (like kids watches). Even then, you run into the same garbled English as with the manual.More headches abound.The product features include Wifi and LBS tracking, with no explanation on how to set these.When you start having trouble, the headaches multiply.In the Q&A section of the supplied instructions it says to send an SMS message if the device shows offline. How do devices receive SMS messages when they are offline? Your guess is as good as mine.Conclusion: don't spend money on this product. Instead buy a nice hammer and smack yourself repeatedly in the head. The results will be the same, and you save money.
