Titan 21117 1/2-Inch Drive x 17mm Non-marring Impact Extra-Long Lug Nut Socket

This set of sockets are a great addition to my tools for changing wheels on a myriad of vehicles. No one wants to mar up their nice forged wheels, be it on a daily driver or their weekend fun car. These sockets fit the bill. In using them, I had one socket where the plastic sleeve moved some while I was pulling off the socket from my impact drill. I was able to slide it back into place, and the sleeve stayed in place in normal use while I removed and replaced lug nuts. Not sure if those sleeves are engineered to be removable if the user wanted to take it off, but I was surprised it was removable. Otherwise, a nice socket set.

Perfect for tightening any loose nuts around the house or car. Being gold is a nice touch, and the plastic shield prevents damage to the sensitive equipment near the nuts you're working on. Fits like a glove, which the nuts appreciate. Stock up for Christmas!

Fits perfect on my lugs. Plus with it being gold it is super easy to find in the old tool chest.

Albeit I used an impact gun. This was supposed to be an impact socket for impact gun application. Used it 13 times and broke. Maybe for a casual usage it could work but for a heavy duty usage in a shop it's not recommended by me.

OverviewIn addition to the plastic sleeve that protects the alloy rims...these are long enough that you can ratchet without worrying about the handle scrubbing the wheel wells/fender. It's nice not having to bother with an extension...which really makes the assembly to long to use with ease. These are great.I only use them twice a year (winters on...winters off) so I doubt durability will ever be an issue...and if you are using a torque wrench to make sure you don't over tighten...almost zero chance of them cracking (which has been reported). Great product that will not mar when using on your car wheel lugs. Used it on my BMW and it is an exceptionally well made product that fit the wheel lugs precisely and performed as described. Highly recommended!

If you want to keep your rims and lug nuts in top condition these are a must
