Great connector with one problem...
First, I like this connector a lot! Connects smoothly, securely/stays in place and works with high voltage. My biggest problem with it: the cable that holds the cap on is metal... That's playing a pretty dangerous game since it's so close to those exposed prongs! One wrong move and you could be in some trouble! I'm removing that metal cable and replacing it with a plastic one - will be much safer that way.

Its good but the metallic chain is REALLY dumb
Everything about it is super high quality except the chain that holds the cap is metal and can easily get in the pins which for me go to a big li-ion 72 volt battery... I replaced it with a ziptie but for almost $20 this is unacceptable.

Drill mount holes carefully and have a second set of hands!!8
I retro fitted a solar panel input to my travel trailer using this connector. I found the tiny mount screws and nuts to be a real pain to install in a very limited access compartment. DEFINITELY a two person job. Thank god for my wife’s little fingers. Also working in a limited space and not on a work bench to solder in the wire leads to the pins on the connector was a challenge. Be sure you do all that with a good soldering Iron/ gun very carefully so as to not melt the plastic connector housing AND on a work bench if possible. . I mounted the cap retaining chain with a separate screw and nut as it doesn’t conform to the counter- sunk flat head machine screw hole. Definitely looks like it’s water tight as it utilizes a silicone gasket.

Poor connections
poor connections that require soldering. Walls of RV are too thick for proper installation
