Have not used this item yet so estimating durability. Should provide some sun protection, especially when sun is at low level in the sky in relation to awning and or rv orientation, but honestly the awning will provide the most shade. Am satisfied with the end panels we purchased though. Expect item will be just as satisfying as the end panels.

We love this shade, hands down one of the best investments we made for the camper and we have been camping for 20+ years. We had several people stop and ask us where we got the shade. It provided excellent coverage from the sun and we were in direct sun from afternoon until sunset. Would highly recommend this specific shade (black).

Easy to use but I believe where it slides into the awning tube the material is going to wear very quickly, used it once for 4 straight days/nights and it's showing wear along the "plastic piping" that slides into the awning tubeMay have to change the rating at a later dateBuy the asurion warranty when purchasing

Great product and craftsmanship! My father in law ordered one from another manufacturer and his zips so you can remove 3/4 of it off and roll the rest up in the awning.i wish mine did!!!!!!!

I’m living in my RV in North Myrtle Beach full time! My awning side is facing WNW & afternoon sun is extreme. I had my awning in the lowest position, but I couldn’t sit in my outdoor chairs after 5pm without getting full sun! With this shade, I can sit outside all afternoon/evening without getting sunburned! It also gives me some privacy from my neighbors, as well as keeping the full sun from cooking the side of my RV all afternoon! I raised my awning a bit to make this fit to the ground without intruding on my neighbor. At night, it feels like I have a bit more privacy too. I 100% recommend it!

Great shade. Descent privacy. We had to remove quick for an up coming storm and it was off in seconds and put away before the wind hit. Probably could have left it on but for safety and protection of the awning and the RV it was easy to remove!

We purchased the 7’ one so dogs could go under, to capture more breeze, and make the area feel less confining. It was perfect for all of those things but the cords are too short so we had to double up and only secure the ends.The screen stood up to a pounding rainstorm and allowed us to sit outside during it. Rainstorms and brutal sun usually meant gathering under a canopy with plastic sides that are stifling with no air flow. This solved that problem—protection with breathing room.

We love this RV shade. RETURNED original purchase only bc was too long. We ordered wrong size. Reordered the correct size and it arrived within 3 days. Slides on with ease, one to two person job, material is nice and thick yet can see out. Comes with stakes to secure to ground as well. Especially like that you can roll it up with the awning too. This will take 2 people. One just to keep the shade tight as it rolls with your awning. We tried it without holding the shade to see and awning rolled in a bit out of whack. Trial and error as with everything RVing. Made a awesome Father's Day gift!! Great buy. 👍
