Plainville Farms, Whole Turkey, 16-18 lbs (Fresh)

Very fresh and one of the best turkeys I have ever had. I ordered two for Thanksgiving and tried to get two more for Christmas but they were not available.

Good sized bird, didn’t take long to cook, browned very nicely, and stayed moist without a whole lot of basting...

Made it for Thanksgiving, it was wonderful, I'll be ordering it again next year, for sure if not sooner.

I deep fry my turkey every Thanksgiving and thought that a fresh Turkey would be awesome over the frozen variety I usually buy. I'm not sure what the deal is with this turkey, but I deep fried it the same as I do with frozen. Temp came out fine but the deeper we shaved into it there was pink and red which worried the family. We could only end up eating what looked cooked. We'll be going back to a thawed, frozen grocery store bought turkey next year.

I buy this every year, so glad to see Amazon has it on Fresh! It's really tender and moist, tastes so much better than any other turkey I've had (including big brands like Butterball). Cannot go wrong with this.
