Did the tape do what it's supposed to? Yes, absolutely. Did it gum up my needles while I was embroidering on top of the fabric I used the tape with? Yes, absolutely. And this is hand-sewing I'm talking about.I ordered two packages of the stuff, because I have a lot of projects lined up, but I sent the unopened package back, since I wouldn't dream of using it with my sewing machine needles now that I know what it does to hand-sewing needles and pins.

I bought this tape to hold fabric while hooping for embroidery. The package (not the mailing) package was taped shut. When I got it out of the packaging, the center cardboard roll was wet. I don't know what happened but looks like it was shipped to me in this condition. However, I'm keeping it as I need it NOW and the tape still adheres to fabric.

I love Clover products and I loved everything about this tape EXCEPT, if I actually sewed thru the tape for very long, it gummed up my needles. I ended up changing needles about every 10-12 stitches when actually quilting a certain section of the table runner I was working on. I had read the reviews and some said it gummed up their needles, and some said no problem, so since it was a reputable brand I bought it. This was a total disappointment and a lot of work to finish my project.

I picked up this pasting tape in order to secure cross stitch fabric to my embroidery frame and it has worked very well.

For use with my embroidery hoop.

Used the product this week and it worked great

This works great and I use it when I quilt in the hoop using my embroidery machine. Keeps the quilt from sliding. Easy to remove if needed. Have purchased several.
