It’s good quality for the money, super easy to install. Just open up the driveshaft and add more grease. Other than that, it’s very simple.

Bought on the Amazon recommendation for an RC car.

Using on a wpl based custom RC, not as a replacement for a broken item. Unlike what I saw in some other reviews, when I disassembled my axles to add grease I already found them to be greased appropriately but you should still check. I have no use for the file but it’s a nice addition to my RC tool box.

PSA: Do not by a WPL truck unless you want to fix, upgrade, modify it, or use it as a static display ..or target practice.These replacement axles with metal gears are absolutely essential, as the stock motor and battery will quickly (like 1 hr) break the stock plastic ring gears that the truck comes with. The stock driveshafts are total dookie and needed gluing onto mine for the short time it drove before breaking. You will need the metal driveshafts here, as well.Equipped with these axles, it has been driving for an entire day so far and have outlasted literally every other mechanical or electronic component of the original car. I"m not kidding. I had to replace the stock motor, radio, servo, and transmission with parts from other cars. These upgrade axles and driveshafts are the only part of the car still working. Ok, well, the "shocks" still work. I mean, they're just springs what could go wrong.

I was searching for a metal drive shaft for my 6x6 military truck (U.S Army HEMTT). I ended up not needing the axles, but the drive shaft fit well. The removing of the old ones was easy too. Just remove the old screws and pull the old drive shafts off. Put the new ones on, and tighten the screws. I was very happy with the product. How it fit, and the skill level needed. I am not a RC car enthusiast, and had no knowledge of how to do it.

Works good, I didnt have to file anything down just screw the driveshaft in, These are a ton better then the plastic ones

Waste of money for this truck. Nice scale look but parts are junk and wont handle kids for more than a few minutes.

I have three fundamental issues with this product:First, while the axle gears are metal (brass), the axles are preassembled with no grease to lubricate the metal gears (see photos) and none supplied in the kit or otherwise mentioned in the instructions.Second, if you're using metal grub screws in a metal drive shaft and do not want to lose them due to vibration, I would highly recommend you install them with medium Loctite (also, not supplied in the kit or mentioned in the installation instructions).And finally, the current selling version of the WPL C24 axles come with metal gears and include bronze support bushings for the pinion gear. This kit only supplies nylon support bushing for the pinion (see photos).Overall, I'm going to use the driveshaft supplied in the kit (which I could have purchase alone for half the cost of this item) plus my own Loctite to secure the grub screws) and I'll throw the axles in my spare parts bin.
