They've got a subtle but beautifully intoxicating scent, and lighting them makes for an immediately inviting atmosphere. And while they may be pricey, they seem to last forever.

this candle is nothing like the original
I had this exact brand and scent (cypress) candle starting back in the 60s and throughout the 90s. Its scent is what stood it apart beautiful and very strong and the candle also lasted a long time. IT DOES NOT SMELL AT ALL and costs $70 for the medium size RIP OFF

LIKE BEING IN THE WOODS
As many others, I have used these candles for year and they are the very best. Sunflower for summer; cypress for winter. fills the house with woody scents but not like Christmas stuff. Much more complex and sophisticated.

Smells great but not thrilled!
I love the fragrance but for the cost I would have expected it to burn evenly. It burns down the Middle wasting a lot of wax on the sides. I've tried burning for short periods & it didn't make any difference. Considering the cost, I think the candle should last longer & burn more evenly! I bought the small & large & both burned the same. Not sure I will buy again unless they change to soy which seems to burn evenly.

The Rigaud candles are expensive but absolutely worth it!
I have been loving the scent of Rigaud Cypres since I was in my teens. My parents would always burn one at Christmas, and that lovely scent represents "Christmas at home" to me, and it always will. I can't imagine Christmastime without a Rigaud on the mantle. Never have tried any of the others, because I'm hooked on Cypres.

Item was not the one I ordered with lid, i received the replacement version, no scent what so ever....not inexpensive...a rip off completely

Love this candle. Have to have the Cypres fragrance in my house. It is always fresh and clean.
