Snuggle Up, Sleepy Ones Board book – Picture Book, September 3, 2013

I was gifted this for my first son for my baby shower and it became our favorite. He loved the sing songy verses that lulled him to sleep at nap and bed time. I read it so often I had it memorized and could “read” it in the dark and know when to turn the page. I get this for everyone I know who is having a baby now.

I just regave this book to my daughter for her graduation gift! It was the last book before bed we read every night for years. It is easy to read poetry. And each page i did in a different voice and as my family grew each child had a different page to read. The illustrations are beautiful as well. I highly recommend this book and make it the last book every night!?

I LOVE Sunggle Up, Sleepy Ones!!! 💕I read this book to my daughters every night at bedtime for years - I still have it memorized and as my youngest is now 9 so I have not read it to her for quite some time.I am now the proud godmother to the cutest little boy ever and the first thing I bought for him was this book!I highly recommended this book for a bedtime story for its adorable pictures and rhythmic writing.

The sweetest baby book! We read this book to both our boys every night before bed. They still have their own copies in their rooms and they are 11 and 14. We give this book as a gift for every new baby and we also read this to our granddaughter.

Warm rhymes and wonderful images showing baby animals snuggling with their parents have made this book a favorite as the “last book before sleep” for my grandchildren. Small enough for them to help hold, and sturdy enough to take early chewing, it’s perfect for winding down before being tucked in.

This is a sweet book, and our toddler really loves it. It's a great bedtime book. We're all very impressed by the illustrations. They're clear in calming colors. The loss of one star came with the loss of one rhyme. I know poems don't have to rhyme, but when every other page rhymes, please be consistent. The words that are supposed to rhyme are "roars" and "paws". We have tried different accents and can't even make a forced rhyme. I've seriously considered coming up with different words for that one page and writing them in with a permanent marker. That would mess up the pretty pages, though. I kinda want to scream just on that page, but we really do love the rest of the book!

I bought a hardback of this book when I was pregnant with my (now) 8 year old daughter. It was one of my favorite bedtime books for her. The rhythm of the words is soothing, the drawings are beautiful and I love how the sky gets just a bit darker in each scene as the sun sets. I have purchased the padded board book for a soon-to-be mother so hopefully she and her daughter can enjoy it as well!

My go-to baby gift! I adore this book and have probably purchased a dozen copies over the years. My own children have requested it so many times that we all know it by heart.
