Will this product counter boxwood blight?
Suffered severe boxwood blight last year on over 30 dwarf English boxwood plants that I had grown over the years to be over 24-30 inches tall. Have applied product on three occasions this year (in Feb., March and early April) and am seeing new growth on remaining minimally affected plants. Gives me optimism that this product will be effective. Am ordering again as product says to apply between 3 to 5 times per year. Wish that small container would hold more than the 10 tablets per bucket. Am using a pressurized tank to apply product- using 3 tablets per tank. At current price, each tablet is $1.75 and is dissolved in a one liter container in water before applying. Rather pricey. Would like to see a larger volume of tablets with a lower per tablet cost.

Topbuxus works great on English boxwoods !
I have a boxwood garden, over 200 English boxwoods. I was heart broken this spring when I noticed many of them turning yellow and brown. I ordered the Topbuxus out of desperation. I sprayed and waited. To my amazement, they started looking better and are now green and healthy. There are still some dead spots but the rest of the plant is so healthy that it is filling in. I just wish I had sprayed the year before.

Excellent
I have used Topbuxus Health Mix as a foliar feed for 2 years and it is absolutely worth the price, especially in conjunction with Topbuxus XenTari to treat and prevent Box moth caterpillar infestation in the same spray bottle. I apply both, once a month from March to October. It does seem to stop the spread of Box blight, allow infected plants to recover and provide protection against further fungal infection. 10 tablets per pot. I dissolve in warm water to speed up the process, then top up to the 1 litre as recommended before pouring into a spray bottle. For those of us who grow Box Balls, assuming 85% sphere and one tablet per 10 square meters, this is a guide to equivalent coverage...1 Tablet in 1 litre treats....0.25m (small diameter) 60 plants0.5m (medium diameter) 15 plants1m (large diameter) 4 plants1.5m (XLarge diameter) 2 plants

Foliar feed plus a mist of acid rain?
Seems to be an NPK 8:10:3 foliar feed plus sulphurtrioxide that reacts with water to form a weak sulphuric acid. That would explains why there's a foaming reaction in water to the tablet. The supplier's web site describes 'burning' the box blight spores rather than acting as a fungicide. Essentially you're giving the plants a mist of acid rain, plus a foliar boost of nitrogen for leaf growth and phosphorous. Interesting that many plant blights were kept in check by sulphuric acid rain falling on our garden plants due to coal-fired power-stations etc.

It's keeping my hedge looking good and healthy
I have been using this product for two and a half years so feel I'm now in a position to make a fair assessment of its effectiveness. I initially bought my first tub after noticing that one large lower section of my box edge was afflicted with box blight. My hedge runs along the front of my property and is around fifteen metres in length by one metre high and has a 600cm depth. After my first spray, in the first year, I noticed that although the blighted area did not recover, the rest of the hedge stayed healthy. In the second year, I clipped out and removed the large blighted area and under planted it with 5x 50cm plants that I had grown from cuttings. Now, ten months later, the new plants are well established and the hedge looks as good as ever. In my experience, this product does not reverse box blight but does, however, act as an excellent feed that will keep my hedge healthy and strong - which will hopefully help it to steer clear of the dreaded box blight. I shall continue to use Topbuxus Health-Mix and I recommend its use.

Let's hope a little goes a long way!
I have only just taken delivery of this. There are 10 tablets in a tiny tub not much bigger than a coffee mug. You have to dilute one tablet in a iltre of water for 2 hours before pouring it into a spray bottle. I didn't know if I had Box Blight so I filled in a short form on Topbuxus website where you can send them a photo. They told me that I have early stages of Box Blight and recommended spraying as soon as possible and again ten days later. After that they recommend spraying every 5 to 6 weeks. I now put my faith in the product and the other reviews on this page!

Actually works.
My plant was in such a bad condition I was planning to dig it out but Coronavirus meant there was no garden waste collection. So I left it. Eventually stumbled across this product, bought it, sprayed daily for a fortnight. The box recovered (see photograph). The only thing in my mind is what happens when I stop spraying? And can I be bothered to do this all again next year?UPDATE:-As I feared, all the time I used this product the plant flourished but when I stopped it simply reverted to the original condition. I don't want to be buying this forever so will probably get rid of the shrub. I guess if you've spent a lot of of time and effort on a box border it's worth continually paying for this, not in my case.
