I talked full quiting into a repeater 20 mil
So far so good. I wanted an antenna for my uv5r that had some good gain. This did the trick. Only time will tell if it holds up. I’ll update in a few months. This did have more gain than the Nagayo 771

Functional and nice Cool-Effect -:)
Well-built almost like those I used with our manpack Harris 7800s.The only thing though with this antenna is the need to shave off a piece of plastic at the base to make the base fit into the antenna cavity of my UV-9R Plus

Range not improved but looks cool
Using on the Boefang UV5R. It looks cool and adds a ton of size and weight but doesn't add any range.

Cheaply made
Item is put together cheaply. Item is put together with cheap glue around the connector portion that does not remain intact. Antenna broke before I could even place it on my radio

Increased My Range of Reception
Excellent Antenna For The Baofeng UV-5RHP, 10 Times Better Than The Stock Antenna. Once I Hooked This Antenna Up I Could Hear All Kinds Of Signals That Were Out Of Range When I Was Using The Stock Antenna. Buy This!
