I'm somewhat disappointed in this case. But.. it's not really the fault of the case or the designers. First, the case looks and feels great. It also fits the V40 very nicely. All the cutouts and buttons for various features are right where they need to be, although the headphone port is not big enough. My major complaint, and the deal breaker for this case, is that it's not wireless charging compatible. When I put my phone on the charging dock, it only connects about half the time, and then stops charging after a few seconds every time. I have not been able to make wireless charging work at all. I guess I'll be looking for a different case.

This is a beautiful case that is tough as nails. It fits very precisly on my V40. The cutouts for the fingerprint scanner, cameras, USB and headphone jack are just where they need to be and are sized correctly. The nice clicky buttons do the job well. The real wood and canvas are gorgeous, and compliment the phone well. The bottom of the wood piece rests on your index finger and holds your phone from sliding down in your hand. The glass screen protector fits extremely well. I cant say enough good about this case. The low price is an added extra bonus. Its great for 4X the price.

I received the case I ordered today. First the pictures are super misleading!! I was expecting a 2 peice case similar to what the commuter from Otterbox provides. But I understand that the price difference is opposite, but they show 2 parts making up the case and the accual product isn't that its one peice with a tiny peice of plastic that looks like wood crudely glued to the back and not even well... Second the build quality is terrible. There's glue putruding and one side that will come undone with very mild use I'm sure. And third they show a case back that seems to be flush with both types of material equil height on the back. but I received a a small peice of plastic glued to the back of a case that is sticking out. I am very disappointed.Pics to follow soon.... avoid!

A great looking case but there are 2 problems. The wood and the synthetic fabric are not flush. It appears that the wood was glued onto the synthetic fabric. Due to this, the wood is raised significantly higher on the back of the case. It is not flush as the product images make it look. The case won't sit flat on a desk.The other issue is that the buttons do not line up well. Particularly the power button. It is a hassle to turn the screen of and you have to manipulate the button on the case to do so.

It's real wood. So make sure you install the back plate last, and gently. I bent it and it cracked where the lense circle is. It's a completely understandable thing to happen and i was clearly lapsing in judgement. A dab of glue and it's all better.I shower with my phone daily. This case, despite the wood and fabric, hasn't broken down one bit. It's an inexpensive case that isn't made to feel or be cheap. It gets four stars because it's not going to ever be a 5 star case. It's inexpensive. It gets compliments because it's unique. It certainly protects your phone. But otherwise, a more expensive case might be much better overall. But this is an inexpensive, 4 star case allllll day!

The case is ok. Repeatedly pulling your phone out of the case will start to pull the back of the case away from the sides. The wood is real, but it cracked just below the fingerprint scanner for me. May do the same for others. Otherwise it's a good design, doesn't add too much bulk to the phone and looks great, not just another bland, plastic phone case. 9/10 for style but 3/10 for lack of durability.

I guess you get what you pay for. This case looks AWESOME. At first glance the materials are high quality and look good. I got lots of compliments on the case. The downside, as others have mentioned, is the wood insert lasts only about a month before it pops out and breaks in your pocket. Too bad, because this was exactly what I wanted in a case, other then the durability issue. I'll keep looking.

This is such a cool case, great colors and texture :) Though LG's tend to be very solid and tough, I've dropped mine a few times and the case seems to protect the edges of the screen well! The wood does scratch easily but I will replace it with the same one when it is too banged up :)
