Inspiring
Ms. Barton provides an inspiring vision of what Holy Spirit empowered community could be. She provides a vision of how a community of Christians could help each other seek their heart's desire (God) and enjoy community without the barriers of gender, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, etc. She gives guidance in how to achieve this type of community, but I wonder if most Christians are afraid to aspire to such lofty community.

Relationships Are Primary
Great book. It's causing me to evaluate myself and my relationships within the body of Christ. I'm realizing more and more that these relationships are key in the Father's heart. Our relationship with Him will suffer if we are not rightly related to each other.

Great read.
The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is the lack of page numbers in the Kindle version. When discussing the book with others that have a hard copy, its difficult to correlate that to location numbers.

Wonderful to benefit from author's years working with intentional spiritual communities
We are using this book as a guide with a small group that has been together for 20 years. It is opening new areas of sharing the journey and we are grateful.

Complete with Tweetables... Really??!!
Love the book (Kindle version) but irritated beyond measure by the addition of Tweetables (intrusive widgets in the text that allow you to tweet the highlighted sentence). They interrupt the flow of reading, they are an insult to the intelligence of the reader, who should be able to choose what, if anything, they want to tweet, and reduce the book to a glorified blog and the reader as followers or fans of the author. I have been informed by the publisher that these cannot be removed from my copy- surely if they have been inserted they can be removed. I will think twice about buying another book from this publisher unless this unasked-for feature can be removed.

This was an incredibly helpful read and I have past it one to a colleague who is wrestling with some of the "spiritual" questions which Ruth answers in her book.
