Amazing book and quick delivery

Excellent book

If you're wanting to be introduced to the world of fungi, then this book is for you. It sweeps over all of the benefits derived from fungi, covering topics from Mycorestoration, Cultivating, Nutritional and Medicinal benefits, to the potential healing power of psilocybin. It even has a couple recipes in there, which are great. Although it does not go into full detail on these topics, it's a great starting point, since it opens you up to all of these pathways which you can later study.It is also jam-packed with high-quality photos of fungi on pretty much every page you turn. Highly Recommend watching the film beforehand too -- Which was released before the book adaption.

Really good book that sums up the fungi around us. Based on the Netflix show and full of great facts and images. Recommended!

Este ha sido un regalo para alguien amante del mundo fungi y definitivamente acerté con esta decisión.El libro es una especie de resumen del tan famoso documental "Fantastic Fungi" que se encuentra publicado en Netflix. Por suerte pude hojear un poco su contenido y pude disfrutar de las preciosas fotografías que tiene sobre el reino fungi con una explicación completa sobre los hongos y sus características, así como los diferentes tipos que hay y las funciones que el humano les ha dado desde una perspectiva espiritual como medica.

First, what this book ISN’T: It’s NOT A GUIDE FOR GROWING SHROOMS. For that, may I recommend The Mushroom Growers Bible by Dr Mandrake & Virginia Haze. I also understand Paul Stamet’s other book Guide to Growing Gourmet and Medicinal Mushrooms is a great source but I haven’t received it yet and can’t review it. That said…Fantastic Fungi IS a beautiful companion book to the documentary on Netflix with the same title. The movie really piqued my interest in the world of mushrooms and this book takes it further with even more information and beautiful illustrations. I was absolutely mesmerized with the movie and this book elaborates on the subject even further. Bottom line, if you like the documentary, GET THIS BOOK, but you don’t need to watch it to enjoy the plethora of information this book has. Lastly, I thought there was a mistake and I paid too little! The quality of this book is something I’d pay $40+ for, so I’m over the moon about the quality and price point. As others have mentioned, it’s a great coffee table book that’s not oversized (think text book style) you can leave out to pique other’s interest.BUY THIS BOOK if you want to learn even more on the amazing subject of mushrooms!
