Great Buy!
I have been searching for an affordable instant pot that is 6 qt with a sous vide feature (one less product to buy) after dealing with my old 4 qt that constantly had the lid error. This one was well priced and large so I went for it. Lucky I did! I love this size, the stainless steel bowl and the ease of use. It is not like my other but I went to Youtube and searched online and found some good info on how to use this one before purchasing. It doesn't have a holder for the lid unless I am missing something, but I didn't realize my other had a lid holder until a year after using it. It never occurred to me that it would after using a crock pot for centuries. Also, the buttons are not as straightforward because you have a lot of options with this product. There is a knob to turn to select what you are cooking and it has low, med. and high which is actually not for temp, but apparently time settings (low is shortest time then it increases). Search this up for more info, I was confused even after reading the book on some things but you do get the hang of it. Have cooked chicken soup, fish stews, and other foods so far and it works so much better than my other one. No accessories sadly, but I will get some of those ASAP so I can use all the options.

Love my Power Pot
I am new to electric pressure cooking and I love this pot that I chose. It can do everything I want plus canning! Made a corned beef brisket for sandwiches and it was terrific! This is the one to buy!

Excellent product -family happy.
It was recommended by and older friend, said it was the best thing she had purchased. I am glad i listened. Word of mouth is the best referral you can get. Has many features and lets you explore the culinary arts of cooking. My kids now enjoy the same. Thank You.

Like it, sort of
So while I'm sure with practice I'll understand how this device works but being a single guy I don't cook allot. I went to make chili and wanted to use the slow cooker option but the pot wouldn't do that. I don't know what the heck I did wrong. I even went to YouTube and watched a few vids on it... apparently I was doing everything right so maybe I got a dud? The pressure cooker side of things worked fine. I set up my chili to cook that way when the slow cooker setup failed me and had chili in less than an hour. Can't complain a bit about that! So yea, I SORTA like this device but I was so frustrated with the slow cooker part I was actually cussing at the cooker! So sad... me I mean! Yelling at devices.. never really solves anything but I did destress a bit! LOL

Best appliance I've purchased in years!
Over the years, I've gotten very skeptical about whether small appliances are worth the expense or -- perhaps more importantly -- whether they're worth the counter space they take up. In the case of the Power Quick Pot, the answer to both is YES YES YES! I've had it about a week now, and my husband & I have already used the pressure cooker for chicken, ribs, and pulled pork. It's super easy to use and it cooks delicious food FAST. (I cooked a whole chicken in 20 minutes last night; the ribs took 45 minutes.) I'm looking forward to trying out the "yogurt" setting and the "sous vide" setting in the near future.

Perfect! Multi-use
I was hesitant to go from a crock pot to an insta-pot, but this pot came highly recommended to me by a friend who had the same one. I'm so glad I went with this pot. I've used it for slow cooking and pressure cooking and it's perfect for both. Excellent purchase.

Highly Under powered Device With No Failure to Build Steam Warnings Of Even Failure Sensors.
I cannot recommend buying one of these fast cooking steam pots. I'm now stuck with this one. Do two things before you buy it. Check the Internet about these pots and then consider a good quality conventional slow cooker. Here's the problems as I see them. Probably because of product liability reasons, these pots are grossly under powered in their heating capacity (aka weak heaters). And temperature sensors were avoided to avoid a catastrophic human burn failure there too. You will find by going to Google that most everyone has problems with these pots not creating steam. None. And the consensus is that slow cooking is a total joke. That too is reported by many people on the Internet. It takes about 2 hours for this particular pot to get up to temperature. Then because there is a lack of temperature sensors, the timers run down anyway in every mode. My failure rate on the building of steam is over 50 percent of the time. And there is no warning of this Your just screwed when you discover that you never had steam even though the time cycle has timed out. The pot will fail to build steam if there is both too little or too much water used (because of not strong enough heaters for that much water content). And the flimsy seal often does not seal either. Pushing down on the lock top after the pot gets hot often helps to seal it. if you are lucky. I would not buy this or any of these pots again. Failures like this are reported all over the Internet (for all brands of them) with long lists of possible solutions for these same problems. Get a good conventional slow cooker instead (as recommended by many people who have these same problems). In my opinion this is why these units have such a short warranty. It takes about that long to discover that these things are not ready for prime time and we are all stuck with them by then. In my opinion, they were engineered so that they never get sued for someone getting burned. And it is not practical.
