While this is not a petroleum, plant based oil or animal oil, it is 100% silicone fluid which is more commonly called silicone oil.

Q: Does the needle applicator get plugged or does it have a wire to insert for storage?

The Pouring Oil comes with 2 different applicator tops: a yellow one with the needle applicator and a black one that is a yorker twist cap so closes off completely when twisted shut. It ships with an induction seal and the yorker cap in place. The seal/liner prevents leaking during shipping and is removed by the purchaser before using the product.
