I did not find the sealing clips in my package, which may explain part of my problem.I primarily use the bags for Sous Vide, and I've found that air and sometimes water gets into the bags. I don't think it's coming in through the zipper, but rather through the vacuum valve and through tiny holes the food may have poked into the plastic.I also found these very difficult to pump with a hand pump vacuum. You may have more luck with an electric pump.

........ on May 22 I checked the bags for vacuum sealing. Of the 5 bags 3 have failed to hold seal even after retrying with vacuum pump. I took great care to ensure proper sealing by the way. This is a dismal failure rated ! Save your money and look elsewhere.

It’s really hard to pump the air out of these! 40, 50 strokes of the plunger and it’s still not a vacuum.Edit: works well as long as you have an electric pump.

Good for Sous vide.
