JOY FOR ALL - Silver Tabby Kitten - Interactive Companion Pets - Realistic & Lifelike

I got this for my 92 year mother who is starting to decline mentally. What a difference this has made in her life! I thought she would keep the cat on her lap during the day while she watches tv, but instead she loves to leave it in the bedroom during the day because it ocassionally "meows" to her. And she sleeps with it - keeps her calm when she wakes up in the middle of the night and doesn't know where she is. She loves to pet it and have it purr as she is trying to fall asleep at night. The staff at her assisted living facility are loving this cat and the effect it has had on her mood. She even hides it under the covers when she know a new CNA is coming in to make her bed! Can's say enough about this product!

I got this for my grandma in May for her birthday and Mother's day. She just turned 87. I use to visit her all the time and bring my cat with me, but because of what's going on I changed my visits into phone calls. Everytime I talked to her she would tell me how much she missed my cat.So I got her this little girl. She absolutely loves her ( she finally decided it was a girl after several days of thinking about it 😸).She came already to go with extremely simple and big print instructions.We got her the kitten instead of the cat because she was smaller and less complicated. She's also small enough where she just sits perfectly inside my grandma's walker bag.Her meows are timed right where my grandma has time to answer her back. The purring and kneading are also wonderful. And she loves how soft she is and how she feels like a real kitten.Now when I call her she most talks about Kitty Cat (it's what she named her). This little kitten sure made her happy. It was well worth the price!

My kitten, I named her Tabby, arrived this morning. I love the kneading action on my chest. She is much softer than my full size orange cat I named Ginger. I love all of Ginger's features, I cannot help but talk to it. I am a senior who lost her beloved Shih Tzu to cancer last week and I am too old to train another live puppy. I have always loved cats and used to have several when I was junger. The kitten does not close her eyes, she does not turn her head like Ginger, she purrs and kneads her front paws and she says miau. But she is cuddly and really soft. That is what I love best about her. For a child and for a disabled person she is the perfect size companion, small enough to fit on my lap, not overwhelmingly active. I am happy she purrs, kneads her paws and says miau. Having both, the cat and the kitten, the kitten's miau definitely sounds more like a kitten miai to. It sounds a little softer and not as loud as the cat. When I have trouble sleeping, I turn her off and am able to fall asleep hugging her, she is my buddy!

This kitten is so adorable in appearance, and I fell in love with her as soon as I saw her face out of the box. The fur is nice to the touch, and the body is also soft (if you push or grab it very hard you can feel the machine inside though). The front paws and head is hard, but this is acceptable.The only complaint is that the noise is the same as that of the bigger cats under the Joy For All line. I expected that the kitty would meow in kitty voice that is supposed to be much cuter than the adult cats. I had not been able to find a video of this product before I ordered, so be it.Besides the above, the kneading motion of the front paws is cute, and purring is great - very realistic. The color seems a bit lighter than the picture shown in the Amazon product page, which turned out to be good for me.Overall, although I personally don't find the sound super cute, I recommend this product if you are or someone whom you care is a cat person.

As to purring and meows, it's very much like the full-size Joy for All cat (but not identical to the one I have) - which is to say, it doesn't mew in a kitten-y sort of way. More touchable and cuddly than the full-size cat - it's not Tyler the Tiger soft, but it's cuddly plush toy soft. I think the only sensors on this one are the touch sensors on its back.The only animatronics is the kneading motion of the paws - which is actually a good thing, since the motors make noise, and other moving pets I have can get stuck trying to get into various positions, which makes it harder to play with them when they are not standing on a flat surface - like if you're trying to interact with them while you're falling asleep, you hear them move into a stuck position, so you reach over to adjust them. This kitten seems much less prone to that - I haven't had it happen so far.The back feet and tail are soft, while the rest of the body has hard mechanical parts in it. The head is also hard under the plush fur, but with soft ears. But overall, it comes off as very furry, touchable, and cuddly anyway.The available power settings are on, mute, and off. Some of the various electronic pets for kids have struck me as being too loud, but I'm not feeling that way about this kitten :-).Anyway, I like this mix of features. And I appreciate the vibra-purr more with this more cuddly Joy for All version.(If I could only have *one* electronic pet, I would add in the light sensor and yawn response to it from the full-size Joy for All cat, since that's like a good-night and good-morning thing when you turn the lights off or on, and affirms power glitch light variations too.)

My 90 year-old mom has found so much comfort in this kitty. She has some cognitive impairment & was experiencing a lot of anxiety. The kitty has calmed her down & on some level she thinks the kitty knows how she feels. Mom strokes her & when she purrs, meows or moves, that is when she really enjoys the kitty. Wonderful product that provides comfort for anyone experiencing anxiety from dementia.

My 5 yo wants a cat so bad but my husband is allergic. So for Christmas we got her this. She LOVES it! It is very cute and seems to be holding up well. The meow and pure and very sweet and not too loud or sound funny. My grandma who is 90 loves it too. May have to get another one for her birthday. The size of this kitten is perfect. Would definitely recommend.

This item is being used with a family member who suffers from advanced dementia. It gives her hours of calmness, she gets it, talks to it, hugs it. Works better than any medication for agitation. I would highly recommend this for anyone suffering from dementia.

This toy cat has been fantastic for my mum with Alzheimer's. Where she would normally sleep all afternoon, now she talks to her cat. She loves it!

Got this for my grandmother with dementia. I was expecting a bit more (softer fur, ability to meow without touching it, a bit bigger in size) for the price but she likes it.

The product is fine, it took forever to come, and because it came from the US, I was expected to pay additional amount for duty when it was all to be included.
