Great Read and Guide About Mini Schnauzers
This book is a complete, practical guide for someone who’s seriously considering a Miniature Schnauzer. I love it because it gives detailed advice to possible Miniature Schnauzer scenarios and how you can correct them. Good to know that despite their short legs, it doesn’t inhibit them from being active and playful. Manfield used good Science in his training methods. If you are meaning to own one of these good dogs, you need to understand their breed first, otherwise, you and your Miniature Schnauzer may suffer. It includes well-written and well-elaborated steps from how to get a puppy to how to take care of it in its senior years. Great read.

Great book, could use a little more info
Great book - my daughter used it for a report on our pet for school. I felt like there were some important information that could have been added we had to go find elsewhere but overall I would still highly recommend.

Best Miniature Schnauzers manual
It does a great job of teaching you all the things to look for when looking to buy a pup, raise them, train them, and take care of them. Miniature Schnauzers, in my humble opinion, are among the best dogs that you could have for a companion. They're smart, obedient, loyal, playful, loving, and expressive. This book is a must-have if you are looking to add a Miniature Schnauzer to your family.

Came very water damaged
I didn't expect much when purchasing this used but I think that this book in particular could have been listed a little more accurately there was considerable water damage. Over the subject and the chapters of this book are incredibly helpful definitely recommend for new and practiced dog owners

Great way to get to know your Miniature Schnauzer!
This was a quick, easy read for a beginner/experienced Miniature Schnauzer owner. It was broken down into clear sections that make each step easy to understand. I like how the author explains each section a bit more in-depth and offers suggestions based on the age of the dog. I found this little book a lot more informative than any other available resources about this breed.

Short but quite informative book!
I got my schnauzer and i though i had enough info about it, but it this book gave me better insights and additional very useful information about this breed. I hope this will help me to be a better human to my puppy❤️

Bad book
Condones illegal and cruel practices of tail docking and clipping of ears. Should not be for sale in the UK. Also, very poor production quality

Good overall book
I liked the overall summary but as a ‘newby’ I felt it could have been slightly more in-depth?!

Good, but there are better sources
This is a good book for someone who knows little about the dog being brought into one's home.It is, however, mostly generically applicable advice with "miniature schnauzer" word processed into it.For specific advice on your particular schnauzer, it is best to contact the Canadian or American Kennel Club, your pet food supplier (if it is Royal Canin) and the veterinarian to whom you take your dog.The Kennel Clubs (or their subsidiary Schnauzer-specific sub groups) can offer breed specific advice on feeding, grooming, care, etc. The dog food company, if is good, will have designed food for your dog and will be happy to provide good info on what, when and how much at different ages as your pup grows up.The veterinarian will be able to give best advice on the shots needed and the best protections against ticks, fleas, heart worm and intestinal parasites. Not to mention give the best treatment for specific problems.A word of advice: Bringing a pup into your home is not a cheap or easy proposition. Be prepared to spend lots of time (and money) for proper care, treatment and training. Your reward (unless something goes terribly wrong) will be a happy, healthy, well-adjusted dog who returns your love and effort many times over.

Great book......
Great book, a little pricy for a paperback. Was hoping to find more information on training.
