bigger but stable
This is rather a lot bulkier and a bit heavier than the stoves that screw directly onto the top of the isobutane fuel canister but it is a LOT more stable. That makes it safer for Scouts, especially when they are trying to heat water larger than a single cup at a time. The hose also allows us to put the canister outside the wind screen without risk of the reflected heat overheating the fuel. The extra space in the backpack is worth it for the safety. This version seems to be holding up well to the abuse that Scouts normally give their gear. I doubt it will last forever but for the price, it's plenty sturdy so far.Like all isobutane stoves, it will stop working at about 29F unless you take special precautions to keep your fuel canister warm. And it will never put out as much heat as a liquid fuel stove like a WhisperLite. And the big downside of isobutane is that you still have to pack out your empty canisters which, on a long trip, can be most of the weight of your cooking system. But they are fast to set up, easy to use, require next to no maintenance and if the fuel does leak, it won't contaminate everything in your pack.

useful
It is what it is...I like the portability...I just have a few issues...it arrived bent at the bottom...I can fix that...it also has parts that like to fall out of their slots...in the end...none of that will matte as it is all easily fixed...it comes in a great portable sack and will do its job.

this is only a windsceen. misleading product description.
This is a misleading product. it is only a windscreen. I don't know why they include that it has a backpacking stove. there is no mention in the product description that it is only a windscreen.

Ligera.
La válvula reguladora que se coloca en la cabeza del tanque de gas tiene un ligero escape, por lo que no cierra totalmente y hace que se fugue parte del gas. En el campo es muy práctica, pero al parecer la mia vino defectuosa.

One Star
The burner would not release any gas and therefore would not ignite. Returned.
