I love this book as fantasy has no limits if the artist lets his or her imagination run free.Michael Calandra is an expert in his field as this collection will show you. Exquisitely reproduced on glossy paper, the art work comes alive and draws the viewer into it's realm.Do not linger too long on each piece or you may not want to leave. The one that took me by the throat was 'Dragon's Lair' on page 39.If you decide to buy this collection I doubt if it will be on your shelf very much as you will be drawn back to it constantly.There is a short biography of Michael, and in the back, he walks you through on creating a very sexy weapon of mass distraction. Enjoy.

Love this artist and his work. I've been looking for some great pinup art that combines fantasy. Great book. highly recommend it.

Sensual paintings in realistic fashion but only a couple of nude paintings but it doesn't detract from the overallcalendar collections of fantasy art.
