A witty and fun book for kids and adults alike. So glad I discovered it and will gift it to many on my list. Don’t let it’s tiny focus be overlooked. :-)

I first found Tatsuya Tanaka on Instagram through a Facebook link and was immediately addicted. I've never seen anything like this, and can't imagine the amount of work it must take to create such amazing, detailed, and diverse pieces of art. The construction and imaginative components are as delightful as the images themselves.This book is a nicely presented, and generous, compilation of the astonishing artwork of Tatsuya Tanaka.I bought a second book for my son-in-law, now also an enthusiastic fan. I recommend buying a few of these as gifts for when you need something that's beyond the ordinary. Extraordinary is the word...

I really love the photos. I don't like the author's interpretations, even though that was what he was thinking of when he made the art. I prefer to use my own interpretation of the scene. So I look at the photos and ignore the text. When I first read about his work in a magazine somewhere, it didn't print his explanations of the scenes, so I was surprised to find them in the book. I appreciate all of the tiny lifelike figures and accessories and can't imagine how he made them! Amazing!

My new favorite coffee table book. The tiny woman mowing the orange catches everyone's attention and the photos are masterfully shot, with hilarious captions. I love that the photos can be enjoyed on a surface level, but often have a darker undertone or deeper subtext as well. I actually need to order another copy now because I gave mine to a friend who came over and wanted one for her 6-year old, who hoped the author planned to do another book for children. I think that older children would actually appreciate a lot of the photos in this book, but might not understand a lot of the captions (and indeed some are for adults only).

Great for young and learning readers! I bought this for my eight year old for her birthday. She loves it and can practice her reading while learning a little bit about art at the same time. My five year old thinks it's hysterical and the absurdity of the little people and foods is amusing to her.It's a good way to challenge traditional thinking about our relationships with the objects around us and tweaks at the imagination in all of us.

This book makes for some fun thumbing through and relaxing. Everyone I've shown it too has really enjoyed it; an excellent random discovery. This isn't a deeply profound book, it is art as entertainment and enjoyment. I should also add the photography and whole presentation is well done throughout all of the books scenes.I'm sure i'll be giving out many more copies as presents over the next year, but only to those with a good sense of humor.

Really lovely book. I'm doing my own miniature photography at the moment so this was a really inspirational book for me and it's also lovely just too look through for a giggle. Really would recommend purchasing this product as its quality is amazing and the photographs are just fab.
