I thought this was great value at around £15. It looks beautiful on or off, and stunning when it lights up at night, casting a lovely patterned glow. You have to lift the lid for the on/off button, but once on it will light up as long as it's dark. There's clearly a sensor which turns out off in daylight. So you can leave it on to charge all day and automatically turn on at night (though I don't want it to do that). I once wanted it to come on at twilight and so I covered the solar panel with a piece of card, which worked. It charges fine left on the porch window to catch daylight. Such a good buy, I'm very happy with it. I've only used it for a few hours at a time, but it's certainly stayed lit for that time. I'm not leaving mine outside all the time, so I can't comment on its weatherproofing.

So having tidied up the green house in the lock down, similar to many people, the wife wanted something to light it up with, so when she forgot the window in it, she didn't have to stumble around in the dark. It works great for this purpose, however I have to get another light for the green house, why you ask, this one does that right, yes, it does, but apparently it's too pretty for the green house and looks pretty on our table. I think we can safely say, I've got some brownie points in the bank :-) Oh the lamp, yes, sturdy, metal construction. Lights up well. Quickly charges. Has a hole for a spike if you want to do it that way.

A good size lantern for the garden. Material could be of better quality as they are very light due to the metal...Would be good if made thicker. They do look a bit cheap, but they do the job intended. They are very pretty at night as the light shines through showing the pattern. Solar powered which means no batteries to replace. Overall, a great product with some improvements needed but would make a good gift.

These are super pretty lanterns. We have two hanging in our flower border and they are very pretty and give a lovely glow. Not bright enough to be anything other than a feature of the garden, couldn't eat by, read by etc. Only downside is that they are quite flimsy and therefore feel a bit over priced. But once hanging at a distance, they're lovely.

This was too expensive for what it is. Its not very substantial, and the rather obvious plastic and gold effect look rather cheap and not what you might want to display in daylight :-( At night (when left out of sight during the day to catch some rays) it lights up and looks quite pretty in the dark The effect is minimal beyond the lamp itself though and I mean minimal ! It is nowhere near as far as the pictures suggest. It lights up a very small area beyond the lamp itself - max an inch ! Shame really as I was hoping that it would be fab and was ready to order another 2 or 3. I wont be doing so :-(

The lantern was smaller than expected but still lovely. Doesn’t give out heat but produces a beautiful patterned glow. Blew over in the wind so added a pebble to the bottom to weigh down. Looks lovely on our bottle top table. Very pleased

The lantern is a bit smaller than I anticipated, but still looks gorgeous with a lovely yellow glow at night displaying the patterns beautifully. It isn't very thick metal, so don't know if it will stand the test of time during the winter. Only time will tell, but for use during the hot summer nights sitting out or looking out to it from the kitchen window helps enhance the look of the garden

Vom Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis sind die Lampen absolut in Ordnung. Betrachtet man sie bei Tageslicht, ist die Lackierung nicht ganz optimal. Zum Teil sieht es so aus, als wenn jemand die Lampe mit einem Pinsel lackiert hätte und dabei nicht ganz sorgfältig gearbeitet hat. Insgesamt ist es aber noch okay. Da ich denke, dass man bei dem Preis nicht mehr erwarten kann, gebe ich denn noch fünf Sterne. Mit einsetzender Dämmerung geben Sie ein schönes warmes Licht und sehen mit dem orientalischen Muster ganz edel aus. Die hier von jemandem geäußerte Kritik, dass die Lampen erst angehen, wenn es stockdunkel ist, kann ich nicht bestätigen. Da ich die Lampen neu habe, kann ich hier noch nichts über die Langlebigkeit und Zuverlässigkeit sagen.

Très jolie lanterne, offrant un bel éclairage tamisé et projetant de très jolies arabesques. Cela me rappelle mes vacances à Bali, manque plus que le bruit de la mer.

Se carga rápido, basta con que haya luz ( no tiene porque ser sol) y por la noche queda super bonita. Yo la pongo tanto en el balcón como en el pasillo.

Non di così bella fattura e si vede che è un po' delicatino. Non fa una gran luce, però tutto sommato è carino e piacevole! Buona qualità/prezzo e mi piace molto la trama che la luce forma.

Not a BRIGHT light just a subtle low light that leaves a pretty image on a table or hanging from a hook. For the money you can’t beat it.
