Hogue OverMolded Rubber Grip for Ruger MK IV MKIV with Finger Grooves, Black - 79000

The Ruger Mark IV is a great, fun, target pistol. The original grips though........the grips out of the box are horrible! After 50 rounds they felt like I was holding a porcupine that was getting madder at me for holding onto it the longer I proceeded. Got these Hogue grips and all is great! They do NOT have a thumb grove so you can use them either left or right handed. Easy fit (make sure you get the CORRECT grips as the Mark IV target is different that the Mark IV 22/45 grips). Also, be sure to use a little BLUE (not RED) locktite on the screw threads when you put them on. I have been leaving the grips on when I clean the gun since they are perfectly impervious to the cleaning solvents and oils, and on the Mark IV you can get at everything to clean without removing them. The price is excellent. You will be very happy with this set. The only warning I would give is that if you have rather small hands (a young lady), the finger grooves will be a bit too far apart for comfort. My wife did not like them for this exact reason but she said the soft feel and secure grip surface was excellent though. Cheers!

Great fit, absolutely love the grip on my ruger.

They make for a much more solid grip. They are perfectly sized and go on easily on my Mark IV target Ruger, using the screws from the factory grips.

Great brand for grips for my .22 also use this brand for other pistols. The rubber is a lot better feeling than plastic or wood
