I love the Psycho movies, Anthony Perkins was the perfect person to play Norman Bates. My only issue was that the DVD case was cracked and broken, luckily the DVDs were okay and I had a replacement case.

Wow, I am so happy to finally own the first 4 Psycho films on blu-ray!I'll start by stating that I LOVE all 4 movies included in this set and I feel that the series has always been super underrated as a whole.While there is absolutely no chance of making a better film than Hitchcock, the 3 sequels are actually really well made and immensely enjoyable.If you're a mega fan of slashers and psychological thrillers, it's impossible NOT to love these.Inventive kills, good special fx, great camerawork/photography, and of course, Anthony Perkins, who is spot on every single time.A torrent of talent is behind all of these films, both in front of and behind the camera.Every single movie included here looks amazing in their high def transfers, which I wasn't too sure if that would be the case.Each movie is on a separate disc, and while the first disc with the original movie includes an abundance of special features, parts 2,3 & 4 have absolutely nothing.In fact, not even a menu.It just goes straight to the films.This could be seen as a bit disappointing, but what the discs lack in special features, they make up for in quality.The video and audio are outstanding.Especially for the price you're paying.This set is an amazing value.If you can get it for around the $15 range as it currently is, it's simply a steal.I love this set!My favorite collection of a horror series to come out in a long time.Great slipcover and artwork too!

Let's skip over the original Psycho. It is a masterpiece, if you haven't seen PSYCHO run don't walk, and watch it. Psycho II was surprisingly good as well. I think as a companion to the original Psycho II stands up quite well, retains the atmosphere of the original and (without spoiling anything) has many great story beats. Psycho III and IV are....less stellar overall, but as a character study of Norman Bates they are entertaining. This is a film franchise that stands up for fans of the thriller type genre, the last film is a bit of a interesting take but overall this is a great and enjoyable package.

Love the psycho series. The collection i had contained 2-3 and Bates Motel, so i bought this to get the first psycho and i don't regret it. every disc was super clean and scratchless.

Very happy to have this collection. Very happy to have a sort of boxed set Blu-ray of all 4 original movies. However, it says on the back of the case over 4 hours of special features. This may be true for the 1st film, but parts 2 through be have absolutely no features. In fact they don't even have a menu. The movie just plays & when it's done playing it plays again. If you hit the menu button it tells you the feature is not available. If you hit the pop-up menu button a thing will pop up to allow you to change subtitles I believe & for parts 2 & 3 you can see a trailer for the film that way. Part 4 doesn't even do that. But the quality is top notch. I personally skipped the 1st film for now because I have seen it so many times. I assume all the features are on the one disc. This seems common in boxed sets. Same with my RoboCop & Child's Play sets.

Great classic entertainment

This PSYCHO 4 Movie Collection from Universal is fantastic if you merely want the movies. However, don't be confused with the SHOUT! Factory / SCREAM Factory releases of PSYCHO 2-4. Those editions have bonus content not found on these disks.The original release of PSYCHO is the same disk that is found in the Hitchcock Blu-Ray collections as well as sold individually.The other 3 Blu-Rays are merely the movie on the disk. The "Over 4 Hours of Bonus Features" refer to the original PSYCHO disk. That said, movies 2 and 3 include their Theatrical Trailers in a pop-up menu while the movie begins to play automatically.As for technical specs they all seem to be the same as the SHOUT! Factory releases.

No good on U.K. system sent back for a refund

Alfred Hitchcock's 'Psycho' barely needs any introduction. In this package deal, you get the first movie plus three'sequels'. Only the first and fourth (Psycho IV (the beginning -- made for TV) were actually written by Joseph Stefano and were made in the full spirit of the first, but all are certainly worth watching.

The 4 movie collection is great for anyone who likes horror movies. Great Collection.
