Sungold Abrasives91-875-060 Trinet Mesh 60 Grit Hook & Loop Stearated Aluminum Oxide Sanding Discs for Drywall Sanders, 10 Pack, 9"

Needed to remove paint and crows foot texture off of drywall. After going through 60 grit sandpaper discs so quickly and not making a lot of progress, I was in search of a better way. I stumbled across these on Amazon. I ordered a pack of 10 to try them out. After using a few, I went back to order several more packs. These things are amazing. They peel off paint without clogging up the sander and the fine mesh allows most of the dust to suck into the shop vac (as it's intense to with my sander). I was able to cover a larger section with one of these than with the sandpaper disc of the same grit. I suggest using these for that initial pass and then follow up with a higher grit to smooth out textured walls.

Last 10 times as long, washable and I will never go back to paper if at all possible - total game changer!!!!And no worries about matching air hole ports - the whole thing is porous! Much less buildup - and you can actually wash off the buildup.A well used 80 grit becomes a very good 120 all on its own - still useable!

I purchased the 150 grit disc primarily to sand drywall mud between coats. It worked as expected. The big bonus was I needed to sand off 2 day old paint and the old paint below it. As expected to newer paint gummed up really quick but all I had to do was remove the disc, flex it and lightly scrape and it was good to use again. Did the whole door with just two disc.With the flow through mesh design changing disc was quick and easy since you don’t waste time getting the holes in the disc aligned to the pad.Only 4 points because as the disc wore down they had a tendency to polish the surface being sanded, lowering the RPMs helped the issue.

These 9 inch sanding discs are for a drywall finish sander. The sander has 6 holes in the platen to vacuum the sanding dust away. The discs that came with the sander have the wrong holes (5) in them. I also purchased the conventional 6 holed sanding discs. But these work so much better. They are completely porous so the air flows thru no matter how the disk is attached . These allow you to sand drywall joints indoors with no dust and they don't seem to clog up as fast as conventional disks.

Bought these to use on my porter cable drywall sander to remove popcorn texture. These pads have no problem taking off popcorn with multiple coats of paint on it. Pads last a long time too.

Doesn't stick to sander well and tends to leave scratches in mud. Not impressed

These abrasive discs worked very well for what I needed,I'd recommend them to anyone.

They work great washable able to get several uses out of each one

very good for removing acrilic paint. paint dont get stuck on the disc as much. its the only pad that works for me when sanding painted wall
