If you are in a place in your life where you are struggling like David, the Psalmist, then this devotional will greatly help you. There are 380 pages in this book so it will last a long time if you read one a day. This book is not condemning but a book that focuses on having faith during troubled times. It helps you understand that you are not alone in your struggles--David, a man after God's own heart, struggled as well and looked to God as his help and his source. This devotional will teach you in a loving, gentle way to do the same. It will help you in dark times to trust God. I'll be reading this book for years to come. It's also a great way to start a women's Bible study session by reading a passage from this little book. This is definitely my favorite devotional so far.

This is a lovely little devotional. I order a new copy but a used one came???? Highly recommend this book all in all. It even has a bookmark ribbon in it.

I bought this edition after I had bought mine at a sale. I knew it was used, but I requested that it should not have any writing in it. Well--- it did. but was still in good condition. I just glued the next page over it. My friend seemed pleased to receive the gift and knew it was used as my copy is too. Thank you!

The most beautiful uplifting book I have ever read. It was a gift from a very close family member. She said God told her to give me this book. I have read every page at least three times. It carried me through some really tough times. I highly recommend this book.

Love this devotional because it's something I can pick up on a busy day and still have a quiet time with the Lord. I've also purchase quite a few to give as gifts or to accompany larger gifts. I first received it from my mother-in-law and have been happy to pass the blessing on to others.

I found this book last year when going through a very hard trial with my mother and used it every night before I went to bed. It really blessed my heart and got me into scripture which I really needed. I have given copies to several friends who also needed encouragement in their faith!

This may be out of print. I love it

I bought these books as presents, aware that they were used books. But a previous purchase of the same book had been of very good quality, and I had expected these to be similar. These two were both markedly faded and one had scratch marks on the front cover.

A wonderful little book that provides the appropriate Psalm for every eventuality. Beautifully illustrated, hard cover and small enough to fit into most handbags. This book is going to become invaluable to me. 100% recommend.

I purchased this book as a secret santa of sorts. I had a read of some of the psalms and they are indeed very comforting, so much so that I bought a copy for myself!I never revealed myself to the person, however I hope she enjoyed the messages as I did!
