Ideally, I'd get selected for Love It Or List It, but until that happens I'm DIYing when funds allow. The latest is my bathroom refresh. I decided to go with gray walls and true white cabinets and trim. The ugly beige light switches had to go, and the TayMac Masque Revive Decorator Cover saved the day without an electrician!The installation is simple. Unscrew the screw holding the old faceplate to the switch to remove it. Place the TayMac cover over the switch and wiring and replace the screw with the new one that ships with the TayMac cover. The results are a fresh, modern light switch makeover on a budget without the need to replace the switch via wiring.You do hear a 'click' sound as you slide the switch cover up and down, but I find that to be oddly satisfying. Some may hate it, so take note.I couldn't be happier and bought a second cover (with two switches) to complete the bathroom switch makeover. Great item that I never knew existed, but I always wanted.NOTE: Item is as pictured on Amazon.

Easy to install—did need to futz with the screws on the underlying outlet box a bit to get the cover to lay flat and straight. But very excited to be able to make this upgrade without having to do any electrical work. These are a true bright white with no discernible undertones.

I recently painted my circa 1975 bathroom and wanted to get rid of the old beige light switches, but I didn't want to rewire them. When I saw these faceplates on Amazon I decided to give them a try.Installation couldn't be simpler. You remove the screws from the old faceplate on the switch and replace it with this TayMac plate. A flathead screwdriver is all you need to do this update, and in an, about a minute you have a fresh looking light switch that's easy to toggle off and on.These covers seem well made (white plastic of above average thickness). They do add some size to the light switch toggles and they do audibly click when you flip the switch, but the action is smooth. Some will find these little things offputting, but you get used to it. Definitely easier than rewiring and this little trade-off isn't a deal breaker for me.

These are awesome!!! I never knew something like this was out there. Just unscrew the old cover and pop this on. No changing out the switches or outlets. This didn’t work for the GFCI ones in my bathroom since they would cover the resent button. But they worked for the bedroom and look so much better. Great price too so nothing not to love!!

This product is an answer to a very first world problem but is a game changer! I didn’t want to have to hire an electrician to rewire white outlets and came across these! I love them! Installed within minutes of Amazon dropping at my door! Super easy, all the pieces were in each package, screws were perfect length and now I get to enjoy white outlets in my older home! We had replaced the wood trim with white and now with these it’s just a much cleaner look. I may actually buy these to cover the one room that is wired with white outlets bc I like the clean look of these covers instead of seeing the socket. AND they’re made in the USA!

Clean updated look with no rewiring. Easy as remove one screw and tighten one screw. I find these to be a bit sturdier than the similar I’ve purchased from the home improvement store.

The photo obviously just shows the double switch, although I had many single and triple switches that I replaced. My house is pretty old and all the electrical switches were beige and this was so much cheaper covering them with these switches Than changing them all. They make a slight clicking sound when you turn them on, but I did not find that offensive at all.

These are truly a game changer. I live in an older home with almond colored outlets. Rather than buying new outlets and having to deal with the headache and expense of switching them out with white, I simply removed old face plate and put these on. They look great and are super easy.
