Self care and relaxation tips
This is such a useful little book that’s full of simple self care techniques and ideas on how to create moments of calm. It’s a perfect size for popping in to a bag and taking to work or on weekends away ( when we’re finally out of lockdown) . I love it and found myself relaxing even as I just flicked through it.

It's all pink and yellow.
I bought this alongside the other MIND book, The Wellbeing Journal. I much prefer The Wellbeing Journal, it's quite pleasing to the eye whereas for me personally Take a Moment is a bit garish with a lot of vivid yellow and bright pink. I know that as an adult it may seem odd to be so focussed on colour but sometimes primary colours exacerbate my anxiety. This book does have more content with regard to helpful hints for dealing with anxiety but overall the other book has a better feel.
