I would say no, mine opens and stops.

Q: Will these valves work on an irrigation sprinkler system controller?

Yes,. because that's what I am using it for, it opens and closes my water supply be for my irrigation system.

Q: Can I use this for fuel gas? Propane?

I am deliver propane by trade, and I would not use that for fuel gas or propane.

Q: How do I wire this to 240v?
