I bought the honeysuckle. It's a nice scent with a nice lather, but after the second day in a row that I showered with this, I noticed that my crotch region was feeling kinda itchy. (Any gynecologist will tell you that soaps and body washes are notorious for causing vulvar itchiness and rashes and stuff.) I switched back to my previous bar soap for a few days and the itchiness went away, so I tried this soap once more just to make sure -- and yep, the itchiness came back. It's a nice soap for the rest of the body, but I would definitely not recommend using it to clean your bits!

This clean cut bar of natural soap suds up nicely, smells great, and cleanses the skin gently. Is it better than more common commercial soaps at an inflated price? That is questionable. It delivers but so does Zest, Dial, Dove, Irish Spring, and many others. The lemon grass fragrance is a great selling point. If you love the smell of lemon, you will love this soap and be willing to the pay the price. 4 stars.

I guess I should have researched the size because I was very saddened at how small 3....3.5 oz was. I was also expecting a more softer scent which was more closer to lemon scent. In my opinion, this soap smelled "sort of mediciny" :(I don't mind paying $5-$7 for natural soap, but I was shocked at how small this soap was and then its scent was not very pleasing to me. As you can see from my picture, I laid the soap along side 2 regular sized saltine crackers. The soap is about the size of 1 and half crackers. I haven't used it and didn't want to spend more money sending it back.

I bought this just for the advertised "honeysuckle scent" because I love the smell of those flowers. Well, if you really stretch your imagination then probably the bar smells somewhat like that, or rather some nondescript floral perfume. But when you actually use the soap in the shower, the smell is becoming unpleasant and certainly does not fill your bathroom with scent of sweet honeysuckle. Not impressed, in fact very disappointed because my expectations were let down.This soap lathers better than some others that I was recently trying, and that is most likely because it is more caustic and contains very little residual oils. It does make your skin feel a little tingling and leaves it squeaky clean and then dry. See some other reviewers reporting that it irritates mucous membranes - for the same reason. If you goal is to cover yourself in thick suds and degrease your skin - this soap is for you. But gentle and moisturizing it is not.

I really like this soap. Pretty much all the soaps you can buy at your grocery store in a big pack really dry out my skin. Especially in the winter. So I've been using this soap for about 2 years now.I'm really picky on scents and like the light lemony scent of this one.Another big point for me is how it lathers so well. Just a few passes with my back brush is all it takes. You do have to be careful to make sure it doesnt pool. It melts a little faster than regular soaps if you dont keep it in a drying rack thing.If you compare the price against your regular supermarket bars this costs quite a bit more per bar. But dry crackly skin just drives me crazy. So this one works great for me!

Fragrance is very strong of lemon, it does smell like cleaner, but the nostalgic portion of me that misses the "convenience" of "normal" life enjoyed it. I have MCS (multiple chemical sensitivity), and this did not cause sinus flareups. It is; however, very strong in terms of scent. It lathers well enough to clean and does appear to clean fairly well. My primary problem is the cost. For $6, I need three at least for goodness sake, we all know you make these bars for no more than 50 cents on the dollar so come on. This is the most ridiculous part, that causes extreme pause on buying again.

We used this to bathe in the river when we were camping. We had hoped that the scent would repel mosquitos since its said they don't like lemongrass. That didn't seem to keep them off, unfortunately! Still needed bug spray...still though, the soap itself was very effective, we didn't feel slimy or anything when we rinsed off, and the peace of mind that the soap was biodegradable and wouldn't hurt the wildlife was well worth it!

Okay it's not just my roommate, we're both in love with this soap. It's been a relief to find such an awesome soap. The constant hand washing has been hard on my hands and my fingernails. Even the suds are soft. My nails stay white and strong enough to open most boxes without a blade. I lotion my hands half as much, maybe less. The scent is lovely. It's not overpowering like a lot of scented soaps are. I have super sensitive skin and I would recommend this soap to anyone. I know I'll be buying more.
